Wallet help please

Hi all,

Recently discovered an old QT dark coin wallet with some coins in it. The message "no block source" was displayed bottom left and so I started looking on here for help to update my wallet.

I downloaded a new Dash wallet and having looked at the YouTube videos on migrating the old to the new I followed the instructions - but nothing happened. My old wallet is now saying I have no coins even though I know I have. I have got 4 back-up wallets (insurance!!), but

a) can't find a decent app that will open them.
b) Too scared to do anything that robs me of a fortune

Running Windows. Any help (for a complete novice) gratefully received.

Save for one thing that's worked - thank you so much.

However, I had 14 DSH and now have 12. I purchased three times; 2, then another 2 and then 10 to make the total of 14. ALL of the transactions are showing, but only 12 coins have appeared in my wallet.

Any suggestions please? Thanks.
