Hi, based on Tao's great guide, I created a shortened version for tech people who just need to quickly setup their masternode without reading through the verbose original guide. I also added an init.d script to make sure the masternode will continue running if the system reboots for some reason.

Create user
-----------
adduser mn
passwd *****
nano /etc/sudoers
[add sudo permissions to user mn]
Install Firewall
----------------
apt-get update
apt-get install ufw
ufw allow ssh/tcp
ufw limit ssh/tcp
ufw allow 9999/tcp
ufw logging on
ufw enable
ufw status
Copy dasd and dash-cli to /home/mn/.dashcore

chmod 777 ./dashd
chmod 777 ./dash-cli
Create dash.conf in folder .dashcore with content:

Create Sentinel cron

Start masternode from wallet
