I am unable to cast a poll! Why?

I am trying to cast a new thread with a poll attached to it, but I cannot.
why?

I didn't see this option either, I just thought it wasn't available in some forums.

When you create a new thread you automatically land in a Discussion style thread, which means you need to switch it over to Poll before actually posting that thread. Once posted to the forum, it will stay in the type of thread you selected (Discussion per default or Poll).
Once you select Poll, you need to scroll down to find the Poll options.

Maybe some specific sub forum parts do not allow a Poll style thread, but both in the General Discussion section and in the Economics->Speculation section it is available for users.

Yes polls are general discussion/speculation only... if you'd like to post a poll somewhere else @vazaki3 let me know where and I'll open it for polls

Obviously into the section "New Proposal Discussions" , posting a polll should not be prohibited.
So please allows us to cast polls in the "New Proposal Discussions" section.

Casting a poll is allowed in the section "General Discussion".
But it is not allowed in some other very crutial sections.
For example into the "New Proposal Discussions" section I cannot add a poll. Can you?
