Step 1 : DCG official server config guide (https://docs.dash.org/en/stable/docs/user/masternodes/server-config.html#server-config) switch Mainnet masternode tab to Mainnet Evonode tab (more ports to allow) and also make sure you enable swap space and restrict remote access.
Make sure to install and enable a firewall iaw the config guide (specifically for Mainnet evonode) and also allow port 80 there.
Step 2 : DCG official Evonode setup guide https://docs.dash.org/en/stable/docs/user/masternodes/setup-evonode.html
Focus on setup with Dashmate on a new host or on an existing host
Make sure you register a free account with Zero SSL website, this will get you an API key under its 'developer' section, that Dashmate will need during dashmate setup to generate a 90 days free ssl cert and auto-renew it 2 additional times.
Make sure your Evonode server is up to specs : https://docs.dash.org/en/stable/docs/user/masternodes/understanding.html
(100-150 GB storage should be enough + CPU 4x 2.4 GHz + RAM 8 GB + 2 GB swap + Network bandwidth 1 TB/mth)
And before anyone ask, there is currently no other way to install and setup an Evonode on Mainnet then through Dashmate (which uses Docker).
After the Evonode is setup and Core has fully synced, you can check if everything is okay by issuing :
dashmate status
dashmate status core
dashmate status host
dashmate status masternode
dashmate status platform
dashmate status services
If something is in red, you will have a problem. If no red, then you are good to go.
I would also recommend to check your Evonode here : https://mnowatch.org/evonodes/ (check your two ports here, green is good). The http port there link to your ip address, so you can check your secure ssl connection through mnowatch)
*** With regards to updating to new Platform versions for existing Dashmate users : please read DCG official announcements carefully before updating. They could contain different update instructions, then you maybe used too. ***
