Contested Usernames : view, discuss, gain support

Use this thread to announce registered contested usernames to masternodes and evonodes, to gain their vote support.
After awhile this system of masternodes and evonodes having to vote on contested usernames, will be replaced with some sort of bidding system.

Currently registered contested usernames, subject to masternodes and evonodes voting :

Note : clicking on a name on this site will turn it red (browser remembers). Not clicking on a name keeps it blue. Handy for mno's to possibly differentiate between usernames they perhaps voted on (red) and those that still need to be voted on by them (blue).

Vote options for masternodes and evonodes :

Abstain : no effect on voting proces
Lock : put username on hold, locked
Vote on person / identity : if enough votes, will grant username to that person / identity

Voting period : two weeks after date of username creation

Rules as i currently understand them :

1 vote on lock and 1 vote on person/identity is a tie, will need another vote on person/identity to get username.
0 vote at lock and 0 vote on person/identity, username after voting period ends will go to person/identity who registered it.

Contested usernames : [a-zA-Z01-]{3,19}

Exactly....The masternodes are completely stupid, and Evo Masternodes are even more than that!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, WASTE ONLY YOUR MONEY!

Contested usernames 'sam' and 'svecheslove' also have two identities each claiming those names

I'm wondering which Mark is Mark Mason, if I'm going to vote, I want to vote for our old time friend, or anyone here if you're a Mark :D Any info on these two? Trying my best to give everyone their votes (y)

Wtf, a username doesn't have to be a persons name or english or a word from a dictionary. As it goes, "mark" could be a blemish or a name, but not just a name, perhaps one of the most common words or name. Wtf are people thinking here that somehow certain people here are special and entitled?? Talk about clicky bros.

Mark Mason moved on a long time ago. Sold masternodes and moved to America, took a job at Coin Telegraph or something, and in any event, he wasn't the only Mark here, and why should it matter?

This voting thing was a stupid idea AND there was no "decision proposal" to ask MNOs if they want to be micro managing usernames. Fuck, to my proposals, MNOs said they didn't want to be voting on dao parameters.. but someone else's choice of user name, yeah, wanna get a piece of that.

Talk about fucked up. Dash is barely 29 USD and probably deserving of it.
 
Names are required simply sold for the price of one dash or more, as long as the name is short. The voting did not make it clear at all who wanted the name and why they needed to vote for him

and dashes received for the sale are added to the commission and divided between miners and masternode holders

Actually the fees for registering a contested username (0.2 dash) are accumulated and used to allow masternodes to vote on contested usernames for free (so they don't need to pay a fee for voting on them). Any leftover funds from the accumulated registration fees will be distributed among Evonodes (only Evonodes) at the end of each epoch.

Contested usernames : [a-zA-Z01-]{3,19}
Examples of not contested usernames : MajesticHorizonGalaxy (20 characters), IAmNotAContestedUsername (23 characters), Majestic7Horizon (15 characters and incl a number)

The gentrification of the dash network, "Rules for thee but not for me." How predictable that some costs and rewards cam be shared while others not.

But I must be careful though as such plans are designed to divide and conquer.

If there is no information about a Mark on the forum (Discord or here) claiming that name with a specific identity ID, and there are multiple identities with that name, i just pick the oldest ID.

Why not make an auction? for short names the minimum bid is 1 DASH. and for example a week for approval or if someone wants the same name he will pay more

The idea is that the voting on contested usernames will be replaced by a bidding system. Which sounds a lot like an auction you are talking about.
There is just not much info about it.
