We're excited to announce the release of DIP 22, which details a mechanism for making InstantSend locks deterministically verifiable by adding quorum information to them. Currently InstantSend messages are ephemeral and only verifiable for a limited time. While the existing design is sufficient for core chain payments, the platform chain will benefit from the ability to verify InstantSend messages stored on it at any point in the future.
