I use DarkCoin Wallet. It reads 0.00 Balance (out of sync)
On the bottom a green synchronizing to network bar reads 24 weeks behind. It never fully syncs. Should I chalk this up as a loss?
Thanks. I re-indexed and now the sync is stuck at 24 hours behind.
Also, my total dark has went all the way up to 1 DRK several times since I started that pool then it goes back to zero.
I have the pool set to cash me out after every 1 DRK but I'm not receiving the coins, even though I set my...
You were 'too busy' when Bitcoin was new too. =) Another good way to do it is mine coins with easy difficulty and cash them in for Drk. I hope Drk doesn't go up too much before I have enough MH power to crank in coins. I think that Crypto Currency is going to be more like Facebook Apps. It seems...
I predict it's going to become the #1 crypto coin of the deep web/darknet which is a multi billion dollar industry. As long as it has been anonymity than Bitcoin.
My wallet has been out of sync for days and the hours behind only seems to get longer.
I've never closed the dark wallet. It's always running/on.
Also, I haven't received any Drk Coins from my pool, ever. I seems to reset back to zero coins on my transaction page and then I have to start over...
That's a great attitude to have. But remember not to put all your eggs in one basket. You may be kicking yourself for missing out on another coin. I don't mean Litecoin. Maybe there's a newish coin with low difficulty that's under $1.00 that you can get in early on, something you think has...
You can always mine with the $40 Raspberry Pi and attach your hardware to that. But buying DRK or trading for it is a better way to go than mining for it. Waiting 10 days to mine 1 DRK coin makes no sense at this point. Even if it's worth $100 in a year that's still $100 per 10 days which sucks...
I'm surprised nobody has made this thread already!
I'll add pics of my new rig as soon as I have it set up! =)
Please describe all the hardware in your Rig Pics and give hashrates.
I see a lot of miners (and haters) on the web complaining about the rising difficulty of coins like Litecoins and even Darkcoin. Miners are selling their rigs because they're only making $5 a day. Can I get a Boo Hoo? Roger that. Yes, five dollars a day is down right laughable, but you have to...
I forgot to mention that I'll also work for mining hardware too.
Specifically interested in ASIC-SCRYPT:
DualMiner Gridseed USB 2 70KH Average price $40 each.
Gridseed 5-chip Scrypt ASIC USB miner 330+ KH. Average price $90.
Raspberry Pi, etc.
Hi Dave. I think that's great that you decided not to sell the domain and instead to build a website that brings awareness to Darkcoin in the UK. I wasn't trying to flame you when I spoke out to you publicly. I was exercising my First Amendment right to free speech on a topic I feel strongly...
Here's a good article on the subject. After reading this I understand more now about GPU miners resisting ASIC. It's seems to me that GPU mining is a subculture that's very anti-ASIC as if ASIC miners are the corporate enemy. My theory is that anyone of us can slowly grow an ASIC mining farm and...
