The\u00a0<strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">deterministic masternode list<\/strong>, which will provide a single source of truth for clients validating transactions;<\/p>\n<p id=\"9a91\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">???<strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">\u00a03 masternode keys<\/strong>: owner, operator and voting;<\/p>\n<p id=\"75fe\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">?\u00a0<strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">Special transactions<\/strong>\u00a0to accommodate non-financial transactions on the blockchain; and<\/p>\n<p id=\"4e86\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">? Dash already offers instant, peer-to-peer payments with micro-fees and is accepted by thousands of merchants worldwide. Dash Evolution aims to make ours the most user friendly blockchain-based payments platform in the world. Evolution will provide businesses and developers with the ability to build user-friendly, Venmo-like applications that allow people to create accounts with customized user names instead of cryptographic addresses to exchange Dash. Additionally, Evolution will enable developers to build decentralized applications without the infrastructure needed to run a full node, made possible through decentralized hosting. As part of Dash Evolution, Dash Core Group, Inc. plans to release its own consumer-facing payments app (called \u201cDashPay\u201d) to demonstrate the platform\u2019s capabilities.<\/p>\n<p id=\"78dc\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\"><strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">\u2757Important Message for Partners and Network Operators<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"4193\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">We ask partners, network operators, and other stakeholders to\u00a0<strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">please begin upgrading as soon as possible<\/strong>. We also ask that network participants who have not already done so, to please fill out this\u00a0<a class=\"markup--anchor markup--p-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdfXqF75yflsk_i9cA2OP7-R1JzXyqKKM3Qqw1Ve3TM9kAohQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdfXqF75yflsk_i9cA2OP7-R1JzXyqKKM3Qqw1Ve3TM9kAohQ\/viewform\">3 question survey<\/a>\u00a0to further inform our rollout plan.<\/p>\n<p id=\"8ce5\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">We\u2019ve assembled an integration guide with details on\u00a0<a class=\"markup--anchor markup--p-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dashpay\/docs\/raw\/master\/binary\/merchants\/Integration-Resources-Dash-v0.13.0-Transaction-Types.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dashpay\/docs\/raw\/master\/binary\/merchants\/Integration-Resources-Dash-v0.13.0-Transaction-Types.pdf\">Dash Core v0.13.0 Transaction Types<\/a>, intended to act as a reference point for implementation. As a reminder, these new transactions are not \u201cbackwards compatible\u201d with existing cryptocurrency development libraries. Our initial research indicates that in most cases at least a minor patch will be required to allow for continued processing of block \/ transaction data after the activation of\u00a0<a class=\"markup--anchor markup--p-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dashpay\/dips\/blob\/master\/dip-0002.md#compatibility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dashpay\/dips\/blob\/master\/dip-0002.md#compatibility\">DIP 002: Special Transactions<\/a>. Activation will occur after 80% of blocks have signalled readiness within an approximately ~1-week window. In order to enable a seamless transition, Dash Core Group is focused on ensuring that as many of these development libraries are updated as possible.
