## Mod x11 (separate kernels)

0. Use "kernel" : "x11mod" in config file or -k x11mod via command line.
1. In case of instability please set a little bit lower engine frequency than a original sgminer.

My experience:

Single 7950 2.6 MH/s
Single R9 290 3.4 MH/s

Single
MSI R9 280x 3.5 MH/s
Code:
"intensity" : "18",
"vector" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "x11mod",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",
"lookup-gap" : "2",

"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-vddc" : "1.200",

Rig
5 x Sapphire R9 270x Vapor-X 10.45 MH/s (~2.09 MH/s per card)
Code:
"intensity" : "18",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "128",

Good mining

What do you mean, "hidden minings," exactly?

Some of the binaries for miners have a hidden donation amount that goes directly to the compiler's address.

nice work, compared to sph-sgminer got speedup from ~1.1 to ~1.8 MH/s (radeon 7870), not a small difference :)
both compiled from source, so at least ~60% pure hashrate speed optimization there, cheers!

UPDATE: wow, seems to be going over 2MH/s with some config tweaking, very very nice indeed.

Nice work. And +1 for open-sourcing it.

I can confirm the following results:
R9 270x with sph-sgminer -k darkcoin (old) 1.235Mh/s
R9 270x with sph-sgminer -k x11mod (new) 1.894Mh/s

It depends also which brand GPU you have. I mean if you have Asus , you could have lower results. If you have Sapphire or Gigabyte , you could reach better results.

So basically, is this Girino's miner retro-engineered? Or am i totally off base?

Just tried this, AVAST is reporting as a virus. D/L from dropbox 9/30/2014 at 11:55 pm CT. Anyone else have this problem?

Is it reporting it as a virus or malware?

Some earlier versions of sgminer are reported as viruses by AVG and have to be added to the exclusions list.

You are right to be cautious though! Don't just go by my word!

Avast saw it as a FileRepMetagen [Malware]. I found another version .. is it ok to post here? The link was from bitcointalk....
