Hello Dash network operators!

The Core development team is pleased to share that DashCore v0.14.0.4 has been released. This is a minor release, and while it is not mandatory, we suggest every node upgrade (both masternode operators and regular nodes). This version includes several bug fixes and optimizations focused on maximizing InstantSend stability based on findings following the recent stress tests.

Binaries can be found
Below are some notable changes:

  • Fix respends of freshly received InstantSend transactions
  • Deprecate the outdated Automatic InstantSend spork from DashCore v0.13, no longer needed with new LLMQ-based InstantSend
  • Improve orphan transaction limit handling
  • Improve re-requesting for already known transactions
  • Multiple improvements to PrivateSend
  • Bitcoin backport for buffer flow vulnerability
Full release notes can be found

Please join us in congratulating the Core development team on this release, and stay tuned for the upcoming release of DashCore v0.15!

We currently (two weeks later) have 68.8% of our masternodes on v0.14.0.4
We will be getting v0.14.0.5 soon according Github (
We will also be getting v0.15.0 later on
And we will also be getting Dash Core v1.0 on Testnet end of this month

Will Dash Core v1.0 release on Testnet rely on the above two mentioned updates (v0.14.0.5 & v0.15) being first implemented on Mainnet ?
Or can Dash Core v1.0 run on Testnet based on v0.15, without v0.15 actually being released on Mainnet yet ?

I'm trying to grasp if we now (with the emerging v0.14.0.5 update / hotfix) possibly need to do two more updates on our Mainnet in a very small time period (three weeks),
before we are able to launch Dash Core v1.0 on Testnet ?
