What should i do?

go to https://www.dash.org/downloads/

* Download latest Dash Core wallet version 0.16.1.1 (i suggest the ZIP file)
* Extract dash-qt.exe and replace your older dash-qt.exe with this new one
* Delete the peers.dat file in your dash installation directory (a new peers.dat file will be created during start of your wallet)
* Run dash-qt.exe / shortcut with -reindex (either as commandline option in the shortcut or activate it inside a running wallet through Tools --> Wallet Repair --> Rebuild Index)

if you get stuck at block 1379127 during sync, then see https://github.com/dashpay/dash/issues/3840
If that does not help, get a Dash bootstrap from here : https://github.com/UdjinM6/dash-bootstrap

Qwizzie’s advice is solid.

I would add — DON’T FORGET to back up your wallet (the wallet.dat file) before doing any troubleshooting. You don’t want to lose any coins accidentally.

Thank you
and how to back up if its still syncing , or it doesn t matter

Each time you close your Dash Core wallet it makes an automatic backup and places it in your backup folder.
But it is wise to keep a few additional backups offline (usb stick or something). And it is also wise (as JGCMiner points out) to make an additional backup before troubleshooting.

You can create backups from within your running Dash Core wallet (File - Create Backup), i don't think it matters if the wallet is still syncing or has problems syncing as it will just make a backup of your wallet.dat file.

What you should never do is manually copy your wallet.dat file, while the Dash Core wallet is still active.
