The goal of Freifunk Greifswald e.V. is the construction of a non-commercial free wireless network. Cryptocurrency as Dash are benefiting from free Wi-Fi. Our problem is, that many do not want to buy the additional hardware and the effort for the installation is too high.
To extend our network, we want to buy 50 wireless routers (price per router: EUR 25), flash with Freifunk firmware, and distribute with a small Dash welcome gift. Many of the same target group are coming across with Dash for the first time. As far as possible, we want to establish the acceptance of cryptocurrency in bars, pubs and student club.
Greifswald is a small town with a university. Therefore Greifswald has a very high student population and is a city with a lot young people. This could thus be a pilot project for cooperation between Dash and other wireless communities.
Of course, we report on this cooperation on our website and local newspaper.
