[solved]could not connect to darkcoind

Hi I stupidly did a pkill on darkcoind instead of darkcoind stop and now it won't start again. It says DarkCoin server starting when I start it but I get my command prompt back instantly on the next line almost like I started it as a background process. I then try to run get info or start my masternode and after a bunch of waiting it responds error: couldn't connect to server.

edit: turns out it was just an iptables error I made.

Type that in,

top

Identify your darkcoind process number, then do

kill [number]

Looking at my logs it looks like it is running it just can't connect to anyone, I also fooled with my iptables so maybe that's it...

edit: I hate iptables, I successfully locked myself out for the second time...I'm about to give up on running a masternode

You can edit the config and add nodes. You have to do it with the daemon not running though if you unable to get access to the service.
