Great idea. 1st question. Prior to the meeting can the slides or information to be shared be distributed in a timely manner so people can look at it and ask relevant questions during or prior to the meeting?

I guess there would be no reason to have a call if we distribute the materials and all information before it :) . I was planning to send the slides after the call

I have questions about human resources:

1. How many people are there in the Core Team and Evolution Team?
2. Is there any plan to grow number of developers?
3. Is there any plan to reduce delay in releasing new version?

How do we formulate good questions if we don't have the background materials?

Hey @oaxaca,
My intention here is to gather questions related to work and activity of the Dash core team during Q3 2016. In case you want to ask questions about the materials, I will be happy to answer all of your questions after they are published (it will be simply PPT presentation).
The content of the presentation will be created based on the information avialable in the monthly reports and project status updates. You have the monthly reports available in the following locations:

Stop me if you've heard this one before... Each item on the Core Team Budget list has some words with one exception. "Dash-Lamassu ATM Integration" has nothing. What is the status of this line item?

I suppose this is not a question for the call? :) So there are multiple updates about the Lamassu on the forum (which I find wrong and I admit, I have (unfortunately) contributed in creation of multiple places with updates - it should be a single thread in my opinion). I will do my best to help with the reporting on this project and will publish updates here: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/fiat-access-gateways-project-description-and-update.10290/
I am literally working on a new update at this moment.

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately the timing of the call is awkward for me and i will be unlikely to make it. However i do have some questions for the core team. Thanks in advance.

Project management

1. Do you think recent delays (12.1) could have been mitigated by a greater focus on project management? For example, should the fake MN issue been identified as a risk earlier?
2. In a recent interview, Evan didn't state when Evo is going to be released. http://forklog.net/evan-duffield-about-dash-evolution-crippled-ico-and-lack-of-competitors/. Is the roadmap still relevant? Will a new project timeline be released?

Privacy / fungability

3. Evan previously alluded to a privacy solution some time ago that does not involve MNs. When will details of this solution be released? Can you describe the solution?
4. Are the core team considering any other privacy solutions that do not involve mixing coins?
5. If there are continued problems with mixing, at what point do we stop and pursue a different privacy solution?

Other features

6.Ryan previously talked about the introduction of a DASH vault account. When will these accounts be introduced? Will these accounts also double as the interest bearing accounts?

Communications

7. Legitimate questions and queries are often left unanswered on the forum. Is it possible to develop a set of agreed positions that can then be used to respond to community members?

Dash foundation

8. I previously proposed a legal option for MNs electing a foundation board. I.e. The roles and responsibilities of foundation members are amended to include a new duty of electing a board which is reflective of a popular MN vote. Members become effective delegates for the purposes of electing the board. Has this been given any consideration?

I am trying to download the video from the webex interface and it says "file not found". Does anyone have an alternate link please?

Pablo.

Thanks @kot.

To @pille , limited keypool issue is resolved with in 12.1.
Wallet does a keypool replenish and autobackup when keys are low, @UdjinM6 can you clarify this.

https://github.com/dashpay/dash/pull/882
Yes, in 0.12.1 user gets a warning if keypool size is down to 100 and mixing is paused until user clicks ok. At that point wallet tries to replenish keepool and to create new autobackup. If it failed to do so, mixing will stop at 50 keys threshold and will not allow to mix anymore until keypool is replenished. You can turn off the warning in settings but you can't turn off this "autobackup on mixing" feature, mixing with no autobackup is not allowed anymore (i.e. "-createwalletbackups=0" will disable mixing). Another part of it is that you can also specify a folder for autobackups via "-walletbackupsdir" option which would allow storing backups on another hard drive for example. This should be a life saver for those who'd like to use live usb mixing for some reason (live usb mixing is still not recommended since it's a very dangerous option and you really need to understand what you are doing to configure everything properly).

As Evan mentioned in the call we talked about implementing/backporting HD wallet seed from btc 0.13 (dash 0.12.1 is based on btc 0.12) but postponed this till later releases (12.2+) because of the amount of changes/conflicts to resolve in the underlying structures. HD wallet feature is nice but it's still heavily changing in btc and is not yet complete/user-friendly anyway afaik.
