Hey @Hillscent , can you scroll up in the thread and jump to page 3 and 4? There are several users already here in this community who have tried it and you can see their helpful feedback. Are there any reviews available from customers currently using your debit card?
https://twitter.com/tenxwallet/status/847114510259441664Not sure if this has been properly verified - but can you please provide some form of identification of yourself on your website/twitter etc to prove you are actually who you are.
i..e put something on your website to say you have submitted this proposal to the network.
We should not be voting yes until properly vetted.
Perfect sense although you say there's no 3rd party like payza, TenX would essentially be a 3rd party, but without visa/Mastercard it's going to be worse than holding a AmEX or Switch card right? Very few payment teminals and atms will accept them? In the UK at least.Thank you for your question. As mentioned in a comment above, we leave the crypto in crypto. So if you deposit crypto (e.g. 1 Dash), you will have Dash in our TenX wallet. Assume you go to any store in the world, it can be in Finland or anywhere else and you use your TenX card, then in THIS VERY MOMENT the best available exchange rate is used to spend your Dash in fiat.
Does that make sense?
Hey @JTFerdinand , great questions.Perfect sense although you say there's no 3rd party like payza, TenX would essentially be a 3rd party, but without visa/Mastercard it's going to be worse than holding a AmEX or Switch card right? The other risk factor is the card is not a 'Dashpay Card' TenX supports other cryptocurrency right? And I'm guessing will intend to expand in the future, why should Dash be the only cryptocurrency that pays directly for the service?
Personally I would invest in this but I don't think it will benefit dash for usability. Have you applied at Bnktothefuture.com ? It seems better pitched to the wider crypto community, unless its rebranded exclusively for dash and the dash app to be released and is then a feature of that but that would require acquisition from evolution.
Great Job! TenX @dr-julian-hosp
When I look on https://www.dashcentral.org/budget
I can nowhere see your proposal.
Why only on https://www.dashcentral.org/p/tenx-dash-debit-card directly
can it be displayed?
Earlier in this thread you were considering going through escrow. Why hasn't this been followed through?PS.: Our proposal is live: https://www.dashcentral.org/p/tenx-dash-debit-card
Hard to do escrow when the payment address is already in the network and the proposer has the private key.Earlier in this thread you were considering going through escrow. Why hasn't this been followed through?
I was talking with @babygiraffe extensively about it, however he suggested to do it directly due to a massive time delay afterwards. He suggested, should it not get approved, we could do the escrow afterwards. We wanted to have the card live earlier rather than later.Earlier in this thread you were considering going through escrow. Why hasn't this been followed through?
Congratulations, I look forward to seeing thisPS.: Our proposal is live: https://www.dashcentral.org/p/tenx-dash-debit-card
We are working on ETH and DASH. We are out of cards right now actually, so also working with Mastercard on a new batch (and maybe a new design for Dash ;-)I don't see a way to deposit ETH. I'd order a plastic.
And, looking forward to participate in tap & pay beta testing![]()
You can only do it through our Android APP. We had so many card orders in the last week, that we are out of cards right now. Should be back in a few days though. You can still download the app and use it though. http://www.tenx.tech/wallet.htmlBesides, how can we order one of those cards? I haven't seen an option on your website.
Dear Beta Users,
You received a system downtime notice from us last week. Here is an update. The update we are initiating in our system is going good. We have just received regulatory clearance to re-activate our Singapore based users’ payment capabilities to test out the system.
For our non Singapore based users, we are looking forward to being back online as soon as our card issuers finish their regulatory and AML checks. We’re not sure about the exact time but this is scheduled for two weeks at the moment.
We will update you again as we see more progress moving into next week.
Thanks for your patience and understanding!
Other Updates:
- Ethereum: We have made awesome progress with Ethereum and ERC20 tokens and are starting to test payments next week followed by launching this to our beta testers.
- Dash: We are finishing the integration in the next 3 weeks and should be able to test it internally before opening it to our beta testers.
Best Regards,
TenX Team
Your card should arrive and also the app should open. If you really have tech issues, please send an e-mail to [email protected] We are working on the DASH integration this very moment and since Ethereum has to go live as well, as we were paid by an investor for that, we are full on. The e-mail you are referring to went out an e-mail ago. Everything should be on time.I hope I'm wrong, but I sense a bit of strangeness going on with these guys. They've received the 300 Dash funding and now suddenly they're coming out with statements like "we are looking forward to being back online as soon as our card issuers finish their regulatory and AML checks. We’re not sure about the exact time but this is scheduled for two weeks at the moment."
Sounds a bit uncertain doesn't it. I thought they had everything all lined up and ready to go...
Now there is an open ended delay due to regulatory issues??
