Need help getting started

Hi there everyone!

I just recently got very interested in cryptocurrency and i wish to open a so called wallet and invest.

But how in the heck do i begin?

I live in Denmark/Europe and im not sure where or how to open a wallet and where to buy Dash.

Please any help is very much appriciated!
 
Hi Morten,

Wallets are software that manage keys.
Keys are what move dash from one place to another on the blockchain.
The blockchain is an unalterable ledger that lives in dozens of thousands of machines across the world.

Download the official dash core wallet here: https://www.dash.org/get-dash/

Install the wallet, then launch it.

When launched, it will spend 1-4 hours downloading it's very own copy of the blockchain.
It only needs to do this once. But isn't very interesting to watch.

Once you have a wallet you can get an address from it with which to receive dash.
