Lost Dash client password... Help?

Hi all,

On March 2016 I made a purchase of dash coins through Litebit.eu which is still visible in my buy order history on the site.

I have transferred these to my Dash client on my pc and locked this with a code, but lost the password…

I have the client up and running and see the amount of coins. Is there anything I could do?

Try few possible passwords you would usually use, try them with typos also. There is no "max attempts" or "lock forever" because of the wrong password, so it's safe enough. Other than that - not much you can do but remember the password.

there are services that can 'help' (brutforce) but only if you have an idea about the password / possible misspellings and such ...

in the end u have to remember your password , otherwise no access - that is the idea in encryption !

i suggest (and use daily) KeepPass !!!
