Installing Sentinel on remote MN running Windows server

Hi all,

Are there instructions available to setup Sentinel on a remote masternode running Windows Server? Unfortunately I didn't see anything and couldn't translate the Ubuntu instructions for use in Windows.

I'm getting a WATCHDOG_EXPIRED error on my local wallet, which is probably due to Sentinel not running. I'm not too familiar with python and was hoping someone already has a solution. I'm sure I'm not the only one running a masternode on a Windows box... maybe ... LOL.

Thanks for any help, and keep up the good work!

As far as I know you're the only one trying that :/ Sentinel should run be ok but cron is used to run it every 5 minutes with linux and I've no idea how that can be done with windows, you can set something up to do that?

I downloaded the Ubuntu server iso, and spun up a couple of Hyper-V machines with it. Followed Tao's guide & everything looks good so far. Thanks for the help.
