Installing Darkcoin on Ubuntu

Hi,
Can someone please explain to me the best way to install Darkcoin on Ubuntu.
Do I need to compile it from the source code ?
Can i run a Git-clone command from the terminal ?
I managed to get it to work last month but now I want to update & can't remember what I did...
