Indexcoin - Stage 1 - Seeing what you think about Darkcoin

Hello,
I want to kick out an idea I have on forming Indexcoin which is an indexing of cryptocurrencies. I would like to get your feedback and I was encouraged by Aswani (I think I spelled that right) who I met in IRC.

First Aswani had mentioned some good ideas and concerns.
1. General Distrust in a "board" or governance - I get that
2. That a variety of "indexes" could allow for one to win out to become "the index".
3. Brought up 2 companies
A) Bit something...who offers blockchain within a blockchain technology and like exchange
B) One that offers the gateway for payments I believe
Indexcoin is fashioned after Jim Rogers RJA (ETN) which is an index of agricultural products, lean pork, soybean, corn, that stuff, and it's all based on commodity pricing of each commodity and the commodities are held in this exchange fund based on the current market price, but they are not all the same percentages.

What does this have to do with cryptocurrency you might add?

I would like to establish an indexing of coins into one (Indexcoin) and was looking at tying in blockchain technologies. I believe this will only give value to Darkcoin if this were an indexed coin, but that's why I would like to try and hold that discussion and get your input. But I believe it will give support to the indexed coin.
That being said, I believe that if nothing else the Indexcoin would hold it's value predominantly based on diversity and the percentage of other coins and their current market price across the board. Consequently, I believe Indexcoin could bring higher prices than the stand alone coin based on percentages equal, etc.
Shorting is a possibility but would like to hold that conversation but believe market value of indexed coins would peg to the current market prices, or it should though I'm not that smart, but would think that diversity would protect shorting. Looking at that AG index I mentioned, it's tied to the commodity market price. I'm not seeing why this could not be pegged to the market price, but I could be wrong.

If nothing else, I'd like to try and form a board to work this out or keep it an open project. But Indexcoin would be a stand alone cryptocurrency.

Imagine 20% Darkcoin
20% Bitcoin
10% Dogecoin
10% Unobtanium
10% Blackcoin
10% HYPER
10% HTML5
10% Oddsmakercoin (made that one up) Gambling option in each coin, historical sequencing and blockchain proof for integrity of cryptocurrency gambling, online and on the floor casinos)

*Anyway the percentages would need to be determined, or like Aswani said have a selection of "indexes" and the best coin index wins (would have to be worked out if could be by value or increase to index vs simply selecting the index ....kind of comes down to tying it in)

I would like to at least mention this and include Darkcoin don't know how elaborate it would need to be to tie in blockchains for a stand alone coin.

Overall I think Darkcoin included to the Indexcoin would only bring increased value and price escalation to DRK while I think would be nice to have one coin that offers the capabilities and in this case Darksend, if that's an option.

I have thought about to the extent of my own investment in just creating an Index and charting out the old fashioned way the price into the coin, ledger it for history and value, and by percentage of coin.
Just if you add the equation that others could invest in one coin like any other cryptocurrency, it could itself be it's own cryptocurrency. And it would hold an Indexed Price.

The coin percentages and how you arrive at adding new one's in and phasing out or selling off others that's the question versus a "board", but there is technology that could allow a winner scenario by sign up (popularity) or by those that picked the best index.

Aswani also mentioned that there is no reason that there couldn't be a variety of indexes, now that would be interesting.
Any comment?

Aswan you mean

I wonder if there would be a way to "buy" in to all indexed coins (BTC, DRK, etc) at the moment someone buys Indexcoin to support current price levels rather than buying in manually? Avoids a conflict of interest.

Also would it even be possible under this scenario with Darkcoin, that if someone wanted to use the anonymity of say an Indexcoin, would it be possible and legally possible to utilize this functionality for the entire cryptocurrency itself (indexcoin)?

More importantly is if anybody cares to discuss it!
