Dash Venezuela Documentary Showcases the Cryptocurrency Revolution in Latin America
A new brief documentary showcases the incredible rise of Dash in Venezuela amidst its economic crisis.
Recorded by Rodrigo Ambrissi of Dash Brazil, the video provides context for the situation with a quick historical recap of the past two regimes, the oil boom, and the following hyperinflation-driven economic crisis. Ambrissi then documents his trip to Venezuela, meeting with the various members of the Dash funded projects, as well as spending Dash just about everywhere. Dash is shown being used to pay for gas, at a hospital, for taxi services, and, of course, for meals at dozens of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. around the country.
The documentary shows the effectiveness of a dedicated and professional team of cryptocurrency activists in a country that desperately needs what they are offering, and demonstrates why Venezuela has made Dash one of the most widely-used cryptocurrencies to date.
