Are there any Dash exchanges with reputable third party insurance against theft of coins, hacks etc similar to Coinbase (bitcoin and Eth only)? Thanks.

I believe an insurance as that is the myth of the industry , who would cover anything like that
bottom line - keep your coins in your wallet (cold) and NOT on exchanges (insured or pretending to be insured or not) !
safety 1st !
the whole idea of crypto is that you are in charge of your own money. so use it as that - run your own wallets , learn your security (cold storage) steps ,.... and only use exchanges for trades and NOT for storage
