In this video we are showing you some impressions from our integration outreach projects. We went to 12 conferences and talked with over 300 businesses and are currently working on 24 major integrations (#itsapleasure).

The Dash Embassy D-A-CH is proud to announce that one of Austria’s leading hardware retailers and IT solution providers will integrate Dash as a payment option. Techbold.at is famous for it’s high-end BOLD. systems and has received national media coverage for integrating Bitcoin and selling mining rigs.

All sorts of PCs, Virtual Reality equipment, mining rigs, graphic cards, hard drives, monitors and other hardware devices are available through the web shop and in the physical store. The company also offers IT support, office management, security solutions and many more IT services to businesses all around the country.

The integration is planned for August of this year and we want to share a picture from todays meeting. You can see Klaus Hipfinger from the Dash Embassy together with Werner Dauschek (CMO, middle) and Gerald Reitmayr (COO, right), holding the letter of intent (LOI), that was signed today.

Today we met representatives of the German Startupverband at the Haus der Bundespressekonferenz. We are planning to join the Startupverband and to host workshops for its over 600 entrepreneurial members. We are also still planning an event at the Haus der Bundespressekonferenz to increase our reach (#itsapleasure).

We are glad to announce our first integration from the realm of charity. Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) is dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Bornean orangutan and its habitat through the involvement of local people.
Dash will be integrated in their new website once it is finished.

Today we want to introduce Benjamin Burde, an education expert who wants to bring blockchain technology to the schools. His project is called Satoshi School Club and he is partnering with the Dash Embassy to organize blockchain workshops at secondary schools. He is very well networked in the educational world and has many years of experience with key decision makers. The goal of the Satoshi School Club is to not only educate the students but to also educate the teachers, so that they can teach their students about the future.

We had our first Roadshow event at the beginning of this week. The event took place at the University of Mittweida and we had both students and professors attending. The university is unique because it has established itself as a pioneer in the German-speaking blockchain world. Our speakers were Jan Heinrich Meyer from the Dash Embassy, Alex Roos from BTC-Echo and Klaus Himmer from CryptoTax. The event was also featured in the local newspaper.

Rafael Schultz has again visited the Audi Denkwerkstatt (Audi Innovation Factory) to talk about how Dash could be used by Audi once Evolution is released. The ideas that were discussed are not so much about Dash as a payment method but about how Dash could be used to fuel some sort of IoT system in the future.
The ideas are of course early stage but we are now more than ever excited about the release of Evolution.

We are working with Chronobank.io and have already signed a letter of intent (LOI) with them. Their platform offers a multi-coin wallet that currently supports ETH, BTC, BCH and NEM and they now want to integrate Dash because they see it as an important payment focused cryptocurrency. Dash Roadshow at the IHK Schleswig: Learn everything you need to know about Bitcoin, Blockchain and Digital Cash.
Cryptocurrencies, Blockchain and Bitcoin – for some it’s the hottest topic for the future, for others it’s a book with seven seals. Anyone who wants to ask questions, wants to know how cryptocurrencies work or how to integrate them in a business with all the legal and tax implications will now have the opportunity to meet real experts: The Dash Roadshow was invited by the IHK Flensburg/Geschäftsstelle Schleswig to visit one of Germanys most northern cities. Four experts will be at the event to answer all questions.

Previous knowledge about blockchain technology is not required. Registration with the IHK Flensburg/Geschäftsstelle Schleswig is required.

Today we want to introduce you to Christina and Natalia! They are working for the PR agency that we have hired to promote Dash in the German-speaking media. In the last months we have changed the image of Dash from "being used for drug trafficking" to "being used as Digital Cash for everyday purchases"!

We were able to get original articles about Dash in important financial publications like Handelsblatt, Wirtschaftswoche or Ard.Börse. We also got our press releases re-published by outlets like BTC-Echo or Focus.de. Various local media outlets have already covered our events and will do so in the future. Our agency has also worked with Dash Force News to get the story about Dash’s success in Venezuela covered!

This combined let to Dash occupying 9,4% of all media reports that covered monetary cryptocurrencies. Obviously, Bitcoin was the leader with 70%, but Dash came in second with more than Litecoin (3,4%) and Bitcoin Cash (4,8%) combined!

We have met again with Kurant to talk about the further expansion of their ATM network that is the largest one in Europe that has Dash integrated.
After the operator Cointed first removed Dash and now went completely bankrupt, we are glad, that Kurant will satisfy the demand in Austria and that the demand will be filled in a way that is particularly beneficial for Dash.

A significant proportion of the German cryptocurrency community is based in Bavaria and particularly Munich.

We are therefore happy to announce our first Meetups at the University of Würzburg and at the Startup Center Brigk in Ingolstadt. We are also coming back to Regensburg for a second Meetup.

We have scheduled a talk at the Blockchance Conferance in Hamburg. And we are also preparing the release of our book about blockchain technology, money and Dash.
We will also finish some of our integration projects like Techbold, where you can buy computer hardware and mining equipment with Dash.

There will be two additional Meetups in Bavaria. One at the University of Regensburg and one at the University of Munich. Our Meetup.com group for Munich has already more than 60 members.

After seeing the last cycle come to a close and leave a few successful proposals with network support but no network funding we felt it pertinent to show our support to these proposal owners in our own little way. We have been in discussion with several community members and after hearing some of the issues with this type of fundraising we wanted to lend a hand. The goal is to keep these projects funded by the community until more resources become available from the Treasury.

During these conversations with some of the proposal owners it became apparent that while it is very helpful for their organizations to receive donations, it is a requirement in some jurisdictions that these donations come from a non-anonymous source.

We are offering to help support the collection of anonymous donations that will then be formally donated to each proposal owner by Green Candle Inc., a registered Canadian corporation.

We have created dedicated wallet addresses for each fundraiser. All funds sent to those addresses will go to the corresponding proposal fundraiser. We are not asking for anything for our time other then the support from the community to help these teams get started on the right foot after securing the 10% voting threshold on their proposals.

Due to the current Dash price decline we have scaled down all of our operations significantly. This will have severe consequences for our work but we don't see another way around it.

20 new merchants from the D-A-CH region now listed on DiscoverDash!
One of our goals for this month is to reach out to merchants that already accept Bitcoin. We have created a list of more than 300 merchants that we want to talk to over the course of the next weeks.

While creating this list we found a group of merchants that already accepted Dash but didn't know about DiscoverDash. We had great talks with them and got a lot of feedback about different payment solutions. We will also cooperate with them on Social Media to educate their customers. Some of their Facebook pages have more than 30000 subscribers!

We were able to help some merchants who already accepted Dash in their webshop but also wanted a solution for their brick & mortar store. We recommended them Spark Payments in combination with Uphold and we will meet them in the near future to answer their questions directly.

If you are from the D-A-CH region we recommend you to take a look at the new entries on DiscoverDash. Maybe you can find something that is close to you. If you are from the rest of Europe you can have a look at the online shops that we have listed. (Shipping tobacco inside the EU is still somewhat problematic)
