DASH Car - Pre-Pre-Proprosal

Gonna throw this out there......

About a year ago I 'pre-proposal' a DASH Wrapped Car....
It got killed in comity.
Approximate cost at the time was $2500USD for the whole car

This time I would like to downgrade that a bit with this New Pre-Pre-Proposal

My Car
2016 Chevy Spark
Base Color: Light Blue

DASH logo applied to each side of the Car
Bumper with: WWW.DASH.ORG
QR-CODE: Scan-able from a fair distance, on both sides of car and rear of the car
Hood of Car: Large D [DASH logo D] with WWW.DASH.ORG on the 'lip' of the hood
Blue lit Tire caps [not needed but would look cool]

This is just a pre-pre-proposal at the moment.....

A rough estimate of the vinyl(s) is $1000 for this car

This is a small investment in advertising, on an "Ad" that I plan on keeping for at least 5 years or more [dependent of wear and tear of course]

This is only One Car.
We could make this a Worldwide endeavour of say 1000DASH to start.
If you own a car, truck, bus, whatever and you also want to placard your vehicle with vinyl - the more the merrier.....

I like the idea, but we don't know your car usage patterns. And US$1000 seems like a bit on the expensive side (but we are passing so many questionable proposals that I'm not sure it's such a problem anymore). Maybe if you planned an advertising campaign to make cheap (~US$50) rear window perforated decals and put them on taxis on your region? (and then you could take one for your car as well). Or assembled a team of volunteer Dash advertisers so that we could gain some scale?

I do feel that we should start making our name seen around the world

lol - That car is pretty much my vision

I don't really want to obstruct a drivers view with window items
- on the car best
- Vinyl - I think is best - bit sticky and won't damage car - some sun fade maybe

In Russia (in other countries it's likely also available) we have such an option - promo magnets (so they don't damage the car - you can easily attach and remove them at any suitable time, many times):

It (300*400 mm) costs here around 6 USD (if you order 100 pieces)
So with 1000 USD it is possible to cover (2 magnets for 1 car - for both sides)
1000/12/2 = 83 cars

I still don't think that this way of promo can be effective until we get Dash Evolution (the only exclusion Is - if you park your car everyday on Wall Street and such places)

And they could prove to be a less expensive form of advertising - agreed - in some parts of the World

Way too many resources are being put into advertising right now. 100% of time/effort/funding should be going toward perfecting the underlying technology.

Advertising ideas like this would best be best re-visited after Evolution has been deployed and put to use by the public.
