@HashEngineering should be able to help you, since they built it. Just to confirm, you are using the HashEngneering wallet, not Jaxx or something else?

This is regarding Dash Wallet for android:
The "recovery seed key" feature is not yet available. There are some commands you can run on the wallet backup file if you really want to get at it. The updated app that displays the recovery seed will be available in a few weeks.
Can you set a password on the app? Yes, for spending only. You can go to Safety / Set spending PIN and it will encrypt your keys in your wallet. Any time you want to spend Dash, then you must enter in the PIN code. If you set up a PIN code and forget it, then there is no way to retrieve it.
