You do good thing by holding your coins on different wallets. As I know the more private ones are hardware wallets.
You can check and choose from them. As for me I don't have a big variety og coins and I hold them on blockchain.com

I don't agree with you. I think the chance is the same. Threats of hacking have a different character, but they are all possible.

You can lose all the coins in one moment. I think it's unprofitable.

Sorry, maybe it's a bad news, but it also can be hacked. They're more secured that online wallets are, but your computer may be hacked and you will lose your wallet too.
So keep calm and choose the best one for you. Don't forget to secure it well enough.

Always update your wallet, don't install untrusted soft on your laptop. These are the main rules.
Moreover you have to use a strong password, you can also change it from time to time.

Do your own research. Ask other people. Check reviews on the web.
There are lots of lists of good soft that are trusty ones.
It's not so hard just spend a little time on it and you'll find the best one for you and secured one.

Bitcoin is hackable with quantum computer, some day every technology became outdated and hackable.
When it comes to wallets i recommend you try something like Atomic.

Peace of paper is very inconvenient to use. Try Atomic multi currency wallet, recently they release a mobile version.

I have never had too much of a problem keeping crypto in a software wallet. Just set it up and don't keep checking it. The more you interact with it the greater the risk. Keep your computer clean and follow basic safety and you should be fine.
