Following some high profile user bans by Patreon, PayPal and other payment processors in the name of hate speech, the problems of centralization are becoming painfully obvious to a very widely followed group of intellectuals sometimes known as the "intellectual dark web", so they have set out to create an alternative to Patreon:

(to the point --> 16:08)

They aim to start a new censorship resistant payment platform, the project has been in the making for several months. They grasp that cryptocurrency may be at least part of the solution, although they lament that crypto today seems too technically complex, lacks user-friendliness.

This specifications fit Dash perfectly. I would suggest DCG to contact Jordan Peterson, maybe set up a collaboration with some of Dash's current partners. It seems like an amazing use case for Dash if they are looking for a base currency. The reach of these and related content creators is among the biggest in Youtube, and they are opinion leaders having important conversations about culture and freedom every day, not mere jokers or fashion influencers.

Let us know if this sounds interesting!

Sadly, you'll find little support here in DASH land.

DASH largely agrees with this censorship and financial strangulation policy.
Most of those who need the solution that DASH has on offer are too stupid and narcissistic to sort it out.

You mean Dash Core Group, not DASH. DCG supporting any such policy would be ludicrous, considering the project and features they have developed, and some of the industries they consider strategic (cannabis, gambling...). Please provide evidence for these accusations.

Even if DCG ever became corrupt, that would not stop anyone else in the DAO to set up a project in this direction, funded by the treasury or not.
