If the budget proposal passes, and if the domain is sold at some point, what should happen with the money? One idea would be to use the money to buy DASH off the exchanges and burn it. But then again, if the domain is being sold it means DASH has become worthless and has failed so there's no...
Am I the only one that gets access violation exceptions when trying to start up the wallet? Win32 dash-qt.exe. This started after migrating to bitcoin codebase. Sometimes I have to start it 10 times before it manages to load up fully. After that it works just fine.
Ah yea that's right. No your numbers are probably correct, and the math in OP is also correct. Obviously the reward per masternode has to go down when more masternodes join, otherwise we'd start generating 500 DASH blocks again. :) The idea was to diminish the effect even if little.
Compare...
Yes, reaching consensus on the correct count even with acceptable margin of error is hard.
I don't understand where you get these results. LOG MAXMN (MN) means "base MAXMN logarithm of MN" btw as I can't notate it properly in ascii. Anyway, the exact numbers used here are not important, but...
There is a scenario where taking down some of the other masternodes will increase the rogue masternode's earnings, as the fixed masternode reward (60% of the block reward eventually) is split evenly to all remaining masternodes.
One way to decrease the incentive to attack against other...
If you meant that when the peer decrypts an output, the MN can encrypt it again using each of the 30 public keys and see which public key produces the same encrypted result, then you're right, that's where I made an error. I edited the OP and added random salt to be encrypted with outputs.
INPUT = denominated input to the mixing transaction (address + value)
OUTPUT = output of the mixing transaction (address + value)
MN = masternode
Numbers used for count of peers and inputs/outputs are just examples.
1. SHARE INPUTS
mixing peers(3) meet at the MN
each peer has 10 inputs with...
That happened to me as well. Started 10 masternodes, 5 of them started ok, and 5 of them crashed on start. When I started those 5 again, the new theme was gone from all of them. :o
I'm using the Win32 version.
DASH is sterile and neutral and businesslike and boring enough to be liked by adults, which makes it good imo. Just reflects how DRK has matured.
But if we want something "cool", then why not:
As generic name as possible like "The Shop" or "Digital Cash" implies that we are not competing with all the shitcoins out there. We have evolved (or aim to evolve) to the gold standard of digital money instead of fighting with DOGE or QUARK etc.
Yes. This is it. Ticker XDC. (XDC's not taken right?) And DC for short. "Do you take dee see?"
Obviously it's slightly arrogant and bold to name it digital cash, but aim high, think big etc. Step out of the kids' playground that is the altcoin scene and stand out as the standard for electric money.
I don't think the term "Darksend" is even needed. You can anonymize coins, you can either do a public transaction by sending standard coins, or a private transaction by sending anonymous coins. There's no "Darksend" needed to confuse the user.
I posted a little something a while back: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/enhanced-darkcoin-wallet-ui.1705/page-15#post-28655
My UI skills are bad obviously, but just tried something with a bit different approach.
