I think you both misunderstand me. I think the direction Dash has taken is a very good one, and I've been all for it. It's no secret that many others are upset with the name change and the new direction Dash has taken. CRAVE supposedly fills that gap.
I'm not promoting CRAVE, simply asking...
Any thoughts on CRAVE now after a month or so (aside from theoretical POS weaknesses)?
I volunteered to host the cravetalk.org community, but am very cautious. I cashed out my principal long ago, sold a chunk for profit last week, and am letting a masternode's worth ride to keep an eye on...
[A popular online wallet] did contact me asking for what I would characterize as extreme levels of inquiry and verification. Something beyond what I ever experienced in the ultra-regulated investment world. When I refused to respond they canceled my account. Since I'm all-in with my own...
Neither. At the moment I am bank free. I made the transition to crypto last year, and made a total pivot in my investment company. I do have a modest level of credibility and HNW investors who would like to continue to invest with me. At the moment, I don't see any way they can.
Not to digress... but the most successful communities are self-policing. I think for crypto to really succeed, the community needs to organize itself to attack child pornography, inhumane and illegal sex trafficking, and terrorism. Cheers to Anonymous for organizing an attack against ISIS.
As...
Actually many exchanges require verification to even trade fiat, and I don't know of any that don't require verification to make a deposit. Even then, almost all severely limit deposits. This is really a problem that prevents significant investment in crypto. I don't think crypto will ever...
I'll need to do some research on the POS problem you're referring to. For now, I did pick up a few BTC worth, sold when it doubled to regain my principal, and am just letting the balance ride. The dev has some interesting ideas, in any case.
It will be interesting to see how this coin develops, whether it fills the darknet vacuum left by Darkcoins name change, or implodes as a scam. Anyone else watching this develop?
I would like to hear an objective argument and counter-argument from the developers, foundation, and community about why a merchant should use Dash vs Bitcoin. I have worked a couple decades in tech startups and ecommerce and am in a position to advise, at times. I hope this is a lively and...
eduffield As much as I would hate to see "Darkcoin" go, I would have to agree. I am a partner in a growing ecommerce business, and we are in the early stages of an exclusive cryptocurrency concept. We will, of course, be accepting Bitcoin, but were hesitant to accept Darkcoin for exactly the...
Thank you tungfa. Sounds like perfect timing, I've been considering joining the foundation for a few weeks now. I've been anxious to learn more about the priorities and projects.
Also, thank you for the TailsOS tut. I'm working on a USB boot rather than a virtual environment. Looking...
