Is anypay suitable? I don't really know much about POS but have heard good things about them and they have a proposal live at the moment https://www.dashcentral.org/p/ANYPAY_JUNE_2018
They are building a very simple yet effective exchange service so that the country of Zimbabwe, and later on other African countries, can gradually be converted to using primarily dash.
At the very least it will provide excellent information about digital currency adoption in third world...

As the others have said, why would the masternodes pay to promote bitcoin or coinbase?
Ok, you fork the blockchain. I am happy to have coins on each chain.
Let's face it, at the moment the most valuable part of Dash is Dash Core Group. Decentralisation has it's benefits, but so does centralisation.
I know this isn't ideal, but their payment is going to be coming out of cores budget. Core is free to spend their dash on whatever they want, aren't they? The masternode governance system has no penalty system in place if people are spending money they have already been given on something other...

No regular person is going to give a single duff about what the double d's in the logo represent. All they will care about is the user experience.
As it seems obvious that the majority of regular people prefer the O&M logo, I think the only relevant arguments against it are technical ones...
Dash's goal is to reach the majority, not the minority who are already a part of the crypto community, and certainly not the sub-group of that minority that are already familiar with Dash.
"I like this" "I like that". As others have said it doesn't matter what you like. You (we) aren't average joe. You are a nerd and a crypto enthusiast. And on top of that you have probably been involved with dash for months or years at this point and are used to the current logo. This logo isn't...
The change shouldn't be an arbitrary number, it should be based on academic research. This is exactly what Ryan said in the video you linked. Once we have the numbers then we can make an informed decision.
