One masternode becomes inactive after other restarted (`mns teeter-totter`)

The problem is: I used the same masternodeprivkey on several masternodes. I experienced the same problem as described after 3 months when I hit "start-disabled" once more after one mn had crashed. The interesting thing that mns can work properly even with the same masternodeprivkey - and they...

One masternode becomes inactive after other restarted (`mns teeter-totter`)

What I have: Two masternodes (lets A and B) and configured start-many to start them. Local: Windows 7 x64, wallet.dat with keys for A and B, masternode.conf, remote: ubuntu x86_64, dash.conf with mnprivkey, ufw with opened 9999, no iptables, dashwhale v4 script for monitoring. Last versions of...

    Got it, thanks.

    Mn start message relaying

And why precisely someone needs to alter it? Because of sigtime (expiration period?)? IP (I believe it's hot wallet's ip) and the protocol number are constant for every starting message.

    Mn start message relaying

When one hit "masternode start" some message is forming and propagating through the network. For now masternode gets to the end of payment queue after "masternode start". Is it possible to save someone's valid "masternode start" message and rebroadcast it later (to kick other masternodes down...

    V12 Release

For now, when we got rid of reference node, will Evan turn off the enforcement on every update (here goes fud about centralization blah blah blah)? Are there ways to avoid that?

    V12 Release

Same for me. After restarting they appear in ./dash-cli masternodelist full as ENABLED, then as EXPIRED and then dissapear. ./dash-cli masternode status on both hot and cold wallets at all the moments shows smth like { "vin" ...

What do you want? This one? ./dash-cli masternodelist full | grep "SERVER_IP"

    V12 Release

But there's no "status" in such output (it can be ENABLED or EXPIRED - don't know what does it mean but EXPIRED looks more negative than ENABLED). I wonder how to combine mastenodelist "addr" with masternodelist "status". One can use ./masternodelist | grep "txid" instead. Txid is a txid of...

    V12 Release

There're txids now. Try ./dash-cli masternodelist "addr"

    v0.11.1 - InstantX Development Update

Why not to pay multiple masternodes in one block to smooth rewards? (block size?) I know we are testing new technology but there are someone always disappointed with all that enforcement off, reference node restarts, forks and stucks. Generally speaking I don't remember any month among last six...

    Mn payment=37.5% at 209840 and annual reward reduction at 210240, right? It'll compensate each other: (13/14)*5*0.375 =~ 5*0.35 ^^

    v0.11.0 - Darkcoin Core Release

What will happen if there're a lot of masternodes which are capable (:1 in list) but stucked on the wrong chain\blockheight? Surely they aren't able to process darksend txs. Looks like that result in ds completely broken for a while. I can compare with some kind of attack when a lot of...

    v0.11.0 - Darkcoin Core Release

My synced mn says there're 2014 mns so there's no significant decrease yet. https://drk.mn/blocks.html is up but mad and thinks there is 54% estimated payments for blocks that were before 204572 aswell. Try to check carefully all your configs (both darkcoin.conf) and especially externalip entry on vps. You may change ip, masternode addr and masternodeprivkey also.

Go "http://ping.eu/port-chk/", type your vps' ip and 9999, click 'go' and check your port status. If it's closed - on your vps: Restart demon, type "netstat -anltp | grep "LISTEN"" (without outer quotes). "0.0.0.0:9999 LISTEN /darkcoind" in 1-2 lines is normal. Make sure all is as it was before...

    Masternode missed payment

It is easier to make reference node to persist history. Need to have a queue, on every block: 1) Push any nodes that aren't already in the queue but are in list to the end. 2) Pop one from the start and pay to it if it's reachable. 3) Push it again to the end. And save that queue when restart.

  35. GilAlexander

    Masternode missed payment

Just to say. There is a payment in any block so one can find the delta between two of his payments and compare with the total number of mns. For example, I had last yesterday payment after 1197 blocks and let there was about 1300 masternodes at that period, so 100 missed their payments.
  36. GilAlexander

    Masternode missed payment

Masternode, which payment is missed is active and in list (for me at least) so it gives "masternode started remotely".

  39. GilAlexander

    Masternode missed payment

Same too. One was paid exactly after 2 cycles, then paid after 1100 blocks (there are 1200 mns). It was in the middle of the previous week, the next payment after switching to 30%.
