I find this interesting. Are you using any other BlockChain wallets of any other coin? I have been playing around a lot of them and DASH is really very easy to use and upgrade. I currently have an update of another wallet which I have restarted 3 times. Second time with bootstrap and finally...
My miner dropped connections with both ports on Antpool good thing I have a backup as I had set Antpool ports as 1 and 2. Regarding your hash I would say its very good seeing that mine is usually at 6gh to 7gh. Today I disconnected it to replace it with a D3 which gives me consistent 19 to 20GH...
You also have the advantage of numbers. With your 14 miners coming on it is likely the single miners would crash out. Its really survival of the fittest.
It appears you have answered your own question
"I'm a little impulsive and impatient when it comes to ROI and like to have money in hand as soon as possible. If I could get my ROI in 3 or 4 months I would be happy but any longer than that, I am simply not content with." so I like you to answer...
This might help on how to setup a D3. As its for your Parents I recommend you join a mining pool. Setting up one requires some work and support and may not be worth your while if you are not very tech savvy in linux/unix. Start easy. all the best.
Please can anyone tell me how to Solo mine with this miner. I want to mine new x11 coins that may not have mining pools that are not ASIC friendly. Thanks
I added antpool to my miner; port 443 and 6099 both got disconnected overnight luckily I had other pools configured. The Stats on the Antpool profile showed 2GH
In my experience 32C gives me 100% and over. once it gets to 28C I notice the hash falls to 64% thats about 6000 to 7300MH. I also notice certain pools are more compatible with steady hashes than others. I find NiceHash would use just about 10GH to 10.8GH max no matter how much higher hashes...
That seems about right. DASH has become like gold, hard to mine. The best calculator to use daily is whattomine.com I find it is closer to what you would get that day. When I started mining DASH in August 17th 2017, I got 0.45 on 11GH exactly a month after its gone down to 0.18. I expect it to...
I get that Pools calculate differently but note my Hash Rate is 579.44% of the expected Hash rate. I usually see this go up to 200% but more recently it went up to over 1000% at which point, I thought it best to put off the miner. Its not up to 24 hours and now I get this. What causes this spike...
