    Version 12.2 release

Yes, but I'm saying that the DMT might not require an update just because a new Dash Core version has been released. I used it to restart my MN (which I updated to 12.2) and it seems to have been successful.

    Version 12.2 release

isn't the upgrading referring to the MN itself?...the DMT is just being used to issue a masternode start command so I didn't think it needs to be updated, just the MN needs to be updated to 12.2...

    Masternode bandwidth costs have doubled

So, I'm still a little unsure about this. Is it true that our MNs could be pushing this much data through in a month? For the first two days in June, my data transfer in/out is already at 5GB. I thought block chain transactions were fairly small in size (~1MB per block)...

    Masternode bandwidth costs have doubled

Ahh ok, that makes sense as too why the bandwidth keeps going up. Guess that's a good thing for Dash :). Unfortunately I'm in a year+ contract with Amazon so can't switch to another VPS anytime soon. Thanks again for clearing this up!

    Masternode bandwidth costs have doubled

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a significant increase in data transfer amounts lately. I'm using Amazon EC2 instances and my bill has doubled this month. The data transfer section of my bill shows upwards of 96GB of data transfer and only the first 1GB of data transfer is free :/ This...

    11.2 - Dash Release

Is this a protocol update? Require a cold start? My MNs fell off the list...I only updated remote side though. Would be nice if it was a standard to state whether or not the updates require a cold start instead of having to guess...

TAO'S MASTERNODE SETUP GUIDE FOR DUMMIES (UPDATE GUIDE UPDATED FOR 13.0)

Doesn't that mean you need to have two copies of the block chain (one for each MN wallet)? Seems like a waste of space...

    v0.10.16 - Onyx v2

how do we know when the latest update is a protocol update and requires re-starting the local wallet? Is it when the third # in the build changes, like 0.11.15 to 0.11.16? Thanks!

RC3: Hard Fork on June 20th!

Just want to say that I got my MNs up and running smoothly using different wallets from the SAME computer (same external IP), where each local MN is connected to a different remote server. The fix seems to be Evan's support of the hot/cold wallet setup. Thanks again Evan for the great work and...

My question seemed to have been missed so I'm reposting it below... If you need further clarification on what I'm asking just let me know. Thanks! So with the hot/cold wallet support will this allow me to now run two local wallet masternodes on the same PC where each local master node is...

RC3: Hard Fork on June 20th!

Great work Evan and the rest of the team! So with the hot/cold wallet support will this allow me to now run two local wallet mastrnodes on the same PC where each local master node is pointing to a different EC2 remote server? The PC only has one external IP address.

Update to 0.9.4.4 or 0.10.8.4 to prepare for the hardfork on May 25!

And that would only be available through the ISP or would a VPN help with this? The thing is, I am wanting to run both local QT wallet off the same computer. I thought since the remote server have different IP addresses this would be enough as the IP address of the remote server is what shows up...

Update to 0.9.4.4 or 0.10.8.4 to prepare for the hardfork on May 25!

Thanks for the info, so changing the port for the second local QT wallet to something different would not work, the ip has to be different from the first local wallet too? In my network, I have 2 computers that are connected via a router. Each computer has its own private IP address obviously...

Update to 0.9.4.4 or 0.10.8.4 to prepare for the hardfork on May 25!

stupid question here, but i want to setup two MNs with local/remote setup. I have one going, but since the local QT wallet needs to be open for the MN to stay active, do I need to install a second local QT client and have that started for the second MN? If so, can i share the location of the...

Update to 0.9.4.4 or 0.10.8.4 to prepare for the hardfork on May 25!

anyone find a solution to having the MN still show up in the list on the remote server after shutting down the local QT wallet (after the MN has been started in the QT wallet)? It seems to work fine now until I close my QT wallet...after that, my MN no longer displays in the remote server list.

    New version 9.4.0 and 10.8.0

thanks for the info, just one question. Do you generate a new priv key on the local wallet, or do you just add the one generated on the remote server to the local .conf?

    New version 9.4.0 and 10.8.0

well i got it show up finally but then as soon as i close my local QT wallet, it disappeared from the list on the remote server and now I can't get it back on the list on the remote server, even after starting up the local QT wallet...still only shows in the local QT wallet MN list...this is...

    New version 9.4.0 and 10.8.0

same here. I had it working once after update to v10.8, but then I wanted to try with the Elastic IP for my EC2 and even since then, I can no longer get my MN to show up on the remote server list, only shows up in the local QT wallet list. been having this issue since v10.7...

    Remote MasterNode guide UPDATED

I have tried using the QT wallet in place of darkcoind on my windows for the local/remote server setup. The commands seem to work and my masternode shows in the list on the QT wallet, but I can't see my masternode in the list on the remote server. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
