I might still put it on company expenses. I'm courting a new client who is a big player in security so it should be allowable. I'd love to go and it might be beneficial to my company and to Dash. I'll find out next week.
Erm, sorry ladies and chaps. I definitely cannot justify this :(

Hey all. In light of my recent losses I'm afraid I'm going to have to terminate the testnet vps instances that I have been running for the last few months. Sorry I can't continue to help, I just can't afford it.
Sober. I lost track of my losses because I didn't have access to the Directbet web site due to the fallout from a DDoS and was in too much of a routine to check wallet balance. Realised how much I was down by and blew the rest chasing it. All gone in 20 minutes tops.
They checked out. I was just thrown by some contradictory and misleading statements by them that I want to understand thats all.
Anyway, I've just finished communicating with Directbet. Water under the bridge.
In all seriousness, whilst donations have been really awesome to receive I don't want to be a charity case. I lost my coins through being an idiot. I dont deserve to get freebies.
Thanks dude. All coins will remain in that wallet for a good while!
The thing that freaks me out most is that it didn't take many sessions of betting to lead to disaster. I'm guessing here but maybe 5 or 6? I have been so badly stung by my actions I really can't see myself betting every...
How about I just keep my coins in one wallet and the community can monitor :) Seriously, I will never bet a cent again.
The timing is really bad. I get paid about every 4 to 5 months...if this had happened closer to a payday I'd be able to buy in some coins at this price. As it stands, I've...
Thanks mate.
Do you know what is really shitty? Directbet emailled me yesterday to say they cannot refund bets when the site is down as it would stop them being provably fair however they are currently under DDOS again and they are refunding people their bets! I wonder why they couldn't...
Actually, while I'm being open and honest with everybody I just wanted to say a big thank you to eduffield , flare , tungfa vertoe , Otoh , yidakee , splawik21 and everybody who has helped, taught and supported me. Thank you.

Hi All,
I’m making an extremely difficult public statement to hopefully provide a warning to the Dash community.
On Sunday morning I managed to lose all of my Darkcoins on Directbet dice. The total loss was 28,000DRK and represents all of my holdings. My mistake was...
As some of you might know, I am in the process of setting up an online watch shop (DRK and BTC only) selling luxury, vintage or collectable watches. Prices will from £50 to £10,000+. As discussions with my suppliers continue, I thought I'd make a little history and sell a watch for DRK...
When can we expect a formal statement from the Foundation about the next steps? Maybe a press release on darkcoin.io would be appropriate followed by a clear but simple plan.
I fear if we don't get strong direction soon, some momentum on the project will be lost. If we get this re-branding...
No logo for security reasons :D
I'm really having trouble deciding which range to offer. Cheap and cheerful (still secure) or robust and expensive like the Aegis range.
I'm going to be selling hardware encrypted pen drives for DRK soon.
I hoped to have a product available sooner but its tricky to find a good value one that supports Linux. Most are Mac & PC.
Not quite. Otoh said that he isn't selling into his own walls and isn't planning on walking his walls up in a rush. I guess that is the same thing that you said but with an emphasis on pace of change...
I don't know if that is what it means. SPR masternode testing and details are scheduled to begin today.
If it turns out like you say, then I agree that I wouldn't be thrilled by the concept.
As for all this 80k stuff. It remains FUD in my mind until proven otherwise.
Its not clear at this time.
Apparently masternodes will be dynamic in terms of number of SPR required to run them creating competition to keep your masternode running. No details are available on what this actually means.
Its all a little suck it and see. Github activity doesn't give much...
Yes, its for real. People have been talking about it in private chat for months. Its not such a big deal. It doesn't really affect the decentralization model for SPR much. Other things will happen which cause a bigger risk to decentralization than people clubbing together with pools imho.
Either way, SPR just doesn't seem to meet the pool-less decentralized expectations that it has set for itself. I know the pie chart that shows top 20 miners looks a lot healthier than Darkcoin's but it won't stay that way if SPR becomes more profitable to mine. The main two reasons I haven't...
