    Taxes for accepted Dash proposals

I made a proposal last month to write a U.S. Tax Guide, but I got a bare majority, not the 451 overvotes needed, so I won't be writing it.

Pre-Proposal: DASH General Counsel and Multi-Jurisdiction International Tax Guides

OK, I appreciate your comments. I believe my willingness to "give the community" the proposal last time at the cost of nearly $5K to myself should show some commitment. I didn't dream of asking for help with the proposal fee at that time, and I was only asking for 21 Dash on top of the fee...

Pre-Proposal: DASH General Counsel and Multi-Jurisdiction International Tax Guides

Well then what are your thoughts? Dash’s price has been cut in half since my last pre-proposal. And under this idea I’m adding 7 countries which I’ll have to arrange for myself plus I’m proposing to stand ready to answer inquiries and possibly do some legal work. And I thought splitting it up...

Pre-Proposal: DASH U.S. Tax Guide for Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Also, in terms of raising money from people directly for such a project, I doubt I could raise enough to do it. People don’t want to spend their own money. It seemed like getting to people to vote for a treasury funding of such a project would be an easier sell than getting people to go out of...

Pre-Proposal: DASH U.S. Tax Guide for Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Please see my new pre-proposal here: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/pre-proposal-dash-general-counsel-and-multi-jurisdiction-international-tax-guides.28459/ wherein I propose to, among other things, commission tax guides for a number of other countries. And I would appreciate yours and...

Pre-Proposal: DASH U.S. Tax Guide for Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Your comments above amount to little more than a disjointed, pessimistic rant that explains nothing about the thought process of the MNO voters.

Pre-Proposal: DASH General Counsel and Multi-Jurisdiction International Tax Guides

Due to the inexplicable failure of the last proposal, I would need to be substantially assisted in this proposal, and would request contributions to XqXtez4p8kv7otVM1yWwmojcjcp9gLKn8W I've already received 0.01 Dash but would need the lion's share on this one. I funded the last proposal myself...

Thanks, I was confounded as well. I've never used Discord.

Pre-Proposal: DASH General Counsel and Multi-Jurisdiction International Tax Guides

Hello everyone. My name is John Flynn and I’m an attorney in Central Arkansas. I’ve been in solo practice for 18 years, representing primarily small businesses and consumers in bankruptcy, and estate and tax planning. I first became involved in cryptocurrency in early 2011 when I started mining...

Pre-Proposal: DASH U.S. Tax Guide for Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Thank you. To that end, if anyone would care to donate towards a 5 Dash reimbursement campaign, contributions would be greatly appreciated at this address: XqXtez4p8kv7otVM1yWwmojcjcp9gLKn8W If i get even half of my Dash back, I would likely try this again with some modifications.

Pre-Proposal: DASH U.S. Tax Guide for Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Well, with 8 hours of voting left, it is sitting at 412 Yes and 314 No. And no one can explain why there is such opposition. Yet I have a majority of voting masternodes saying yes. Is there any avenue for getting the 5 Dash proposal fee (or some portion of it) reimbursed?

Anyone have any clue as to why I’m getting so many no votes with my scaled back proposal?

Pre-Proposal: DASH U.S. Tax Guide for Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Well, it’s essentially as I laid out above. I am an attorney and will research and write a DASH tax Law guidebook for the community. It’s fairly straightforward and more scaled down than a pre-proposal I previously made. I would have it published by April 15th. I’m not quite sure what else you...

Pre-Proposal: DASH U.S. Tax Guide for Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Some have asked in a previous thread about a YouTube Q and A video. While I don’t want to make it part of the official proposal as I’m not sure it will be needed, after release of the Guide, I will post here and in the subreddit soliciting questions and if there are more than a few I’ll happily...

Based on everything I've posted thus far, and out of curiosity, what would you consider to be a reasonable amount for my proposal? Thanks, John Flynn

Pre-proposal: Cryptocurrency Law and Tax Guide for DASH Masternodes, Miners and Investors

As to 90 DASH, it would of course only be 85 after reimbursement of the 5 DASH proposal fee, which is quite a bit of money for anyone to put out on spec for a proposal. In terms of the reasoning behind the 85 DASH fee, I addressed it with numbers including my estimated time for this project...

Pre-proposal: Cryptocurrency Law and Tax Guide for DASH Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Thanks. I reviewed that page before, and it seems to be basically about one page of brief tax advice and then some listing of various KYC/AML info for exchanges. I contend that my proposal has nothing to do with advice for exchanges, but rather for DASH "Masternodes, miners and investors"...

Pre-proposal: Cryptocurrency Law and Tax Guide for DASH Masternodes, Miners and Investors

Thank you for the comments and I'll certainly take that into consideration. As to whether it would be sold, my theory is that the DASH Treasury is paying for it, so I would make it public domain and only publish as a free ebook. I'm happy to answer any further questions.
