Is Ybcoin just a DASH clone/rip off?

All I can gather from shitty chinese translations on google is that the coin has a masternode system that requires you to have 1000 total and provides instant confirmations...

dafuq?

How strong currently is our asian/chinese presence? Wouldn't be a bad idea to throw some of the budget to chinese exclusive marketing & brand awareness! Those assholes have traded 10m in volume today of that rip off garbage!!

Oh and hey guys, how are ya? :p

we are very present in China
our biggest problem is a good reliable local exchange !
we are working on it

10 mill volume is the usual China no trading fee bull....
do not believe the hype !

Is that the way Chineses tranfer their values to outside their country's border to store in the safer places?

the chinese stock market is all over the shop these days+ the chinese (incl the government) finally figured out that there 'fail save button' is bull and does not work
there is a LOT of uncertainty out there
good time to play with the investment ideas

Even if a pump n dump, just a couple multi-million dollar trading days and we are sure to catch the attention of some we otherwise wouldn't. Plus the Chinese are perfect for DASH and benefit probably the greatest from what dash offers. I'm not saying we should go all "M word" on them but if our asian friends could kindly point out the fact that yb is a rip off and dash is the only solution with such offerings as well as thriving community and history/track record, we could see a nice influx of DASH users pretty quickly :)

maybe Alexy and Raico know more about this

we are pushing in China with banners and chat groups and all , but as far as I understand it we still have a bad reputation over there + a local (good) exchange is missing

Not sure if Ybcoin is just a clone of DASH, but I believe it's also the coin used in the stock market of Yuanbaohui exchange.

I agree a good exchange is missing (BTER doesn't seem to matter anymore), I'll try to approach Yuanbaohui unofficially and see how they feel about adding DASH.

Also, I don't think chinese cared much for anonymity, which was the main feature of DASH initially (Darkcoin stage), they were/are more into IoT and Blockchain-as-a-Service, so now with Evolution things could be different. It might help if we participate in some chinese crypto conferences and promote the features of Evolution.

I think the Chinese care a lot with anonymity. Even as it is, darksend is a fantastic way to stealthily shift funds out of China without leaving a trail.. Which is all they want. What extra would evolution add?

but... don't the Chinese have the worst restrictions known to a modern economy over citizen funds/savings & movements? From my understanding they can only invest 50k USD (in cny) per year in foreign investments. Combine that with an economy that is in a free fall providing no domestic investment opportunities and a government whom is purposely devalueing their currency, DASH is like aquatica in the fucking desert, right?

or did I miss something?

Banks don't allow Chinese to exchange more than 50k USD per year per person under normal circumstances, but any Chinese can deposit 51k USD (in CNY), or higher amount, in Chinese exchanges, buy BTC, sell it for USD or EUR and deposit it into a western bank account, they can also use the casinos and shops in Macau, and for people looking to move big amounts, they have other paths, like investing CNY in Hong Kong and then moving that money out of Hong Kong without limitations (there are "agencies" helping Chinese to do this to invest abroad). So the anonymity of DASH doesn't matter much specifically for this purpose compared to BTC or other coins (different thing would be for dissidents to move money around), and the government is not tracking this, if they did, they would simple control and limit the deposits to the exchange markets.

Evolution wouldn't add any extra on this, what I mean is that it should be attractive to Chinese because of the innovation and new technology. Blockchain-as-a-Service is where most of the efforts are these days, it's the trendy topic of 2015-2016, and Evolution is sort of Blockchain and decentralized network as-a-Service, I think well explained can draw a lot of interest from investors.

Their Masternode system is a little bit different form DASH.
And they have an agreement with a (Multipool)and cause the pool sell the Coin the Miner mined and then convert to YBcoin in the market and thus creating artificial trade volume.
I do not see any IX function of YBcoin (at least not yet).
The technology is there and people can copy and forge to their coin. This is normal. That means they realize the important of rewarding full node.
