When SatoshiLabs announced support for DASH in their 1.3.3 firmware upgrade we thought the DASH community might want to get their hands on one.

We ordered a few Trezors to test out at Node40 and we're giving one away. We'll be drawing a lucky winner from our list of registered users on July 1st, 2015 at noon Eastern Time (UTC-5).

Visit Node40.com for details.

There is an existing DASH/Trezor thread here: https://dashtalk.org/threads/trezor-for-darkcoin.4162/

node40 offers some great services, even if you're not running a masternode with them it's still fricken awesome! You can manage your private nodes, check statistics, set custom tags for each node etc. I signed up for the giveaway and almost felt guilty doing so! Thanks again for your services keep up the good work!

I signed up from a while but I didn't knew about the masternode monitoring page, it's great! I hope you don't mind if i use it. Anyway if I win the Trezor, I'll set up a masternode with you guys for sure! Thanks for the service!

Everyone is welcome to use the Node40 monitor. And if you have suggestions for improving it, let me know.

It would be really cool if you could integrate the Trezor with your "shared" masternodes. Also, an online wallet that worked with Trezor would also rock my boat but I guess that's tangential to what you are doing now.

:)

Looks like you guys are off to a great start, best of luck!

Pablo.

I'm not sure how a Trezor or any wallet or vault can help with a shared Masternode, because if you do a shared MN you have to send your coins away.
And afaik, mytrezor is not supporting Dash (yet).

My coding skills are not so good but I'm guessing you could put something together with multisig where you require a majority of holders to authorize (with trezor) a spend from the masternode address. That would provide an additional layer of transparency.

I'm speculating here, but seems doable.

Afaik it's not doable because the 1000 DASH total has to be sent to an address all in one go. This issue has been raised and discussed in the past:

And I believe even multisig addresses still aren't doable for a fully funded MN:

Ah yes, you're right, I forgot about the single input issue.

Still, it's nice to dream :).

Just curious.. Was the winner selected from the list of your customers only? (and they registered for this giveaway)

Randomly selected from a list of our registered users. Not necessarily customers as our monitoring service is completely free.
