i tried to sent a received InstantX forward to another address with just 1 confirmed POW but it gave insufficient funds error so i guess it needs 6 POW confirmations before you can spent it / sent it through (i speciffically selected the amount i received from InstantX through coin control).

It would be interesting if somehow it would be possible to follow the locked coins through IX to allow this feature to happen. Ultimately the coins would be confirmed via POW block confirms, certainly after the coins stopped in their final location.
 
i have to say that InstantX looks solid, it gets its MN confirmations very fast and gets added to Receiver's ''Total'' immediately.

broadcast through 1 node is the POW confirmation .. minimal 1 POW confirmation required i think

To see how IX works with small amounts i sent 0.5 to qwizzie

For some reason the wallet considering it as Denominate (the transaction was with IX only no darksend).

in "transaction" tab i see it:

type: Darksend split large amounts inputs.

Could you guys try "small" amounts IX also under 1 tdrk

This part of code (tx tab) hasn't been reviewed for quite a long time and there were lots of internal DS fixes at the same time. So UI might not fit new logic correctly now. Will take a look at this.

Also wondering is this even clickable for anyone?

Is anyone trying to trick the system yet? It's one thing for it to work, sure it works, but can it be manipulated? Just wish I could do that kind of thing, but I don't know programming and don't have time to really think about the logic (makes me brain hurt!)

Finally cleared some free time this evening. Sent 5 DRK to UdjinM6 and it showed 6 confirmations verified via IX faster than I could open the transaction details. This is so slick!

This is slightly beyond my skill set at the moment, so I don't know how to test it.

What if you send an IX transaction, but set it to mature X blocks in the future?

Just IX'd you some tDRK with instantxdepth=33, let us know how soon you can spend it.
