Over 1 Million Britons Do Not Have a Bank Account, Cash Usage Still Very Prevalent

A recent report revealed that 1.2 million Britons do no have bank accounts and Bank of England research shows that 2.2 million Britons are almost entirely reliant on cash.

People using pay-as-you-go utility meters (gas, electric) usually pay higher tariffs. But regardless, people like me have intentionally moved back to cash because it's closer to crypto than having a crypto debit card. And also not carrying electronics to the shop.

Sainsbury's self-checkouts have cameras at each Point of Sale. This leaves the door open to more data capture; age, sex, height, ethnicity, iris scanning, health (heart rate) and more. I don't use those either.
