INTRODUCTION:OUR GOAL

This is our 2nd submission ( this time with escrow ) to promote DASH in Africa, starting with South Africa, the continents financial hub, with a nationwide 5 cities, 5 event education, awareness & adoption campaign which will include activations, training of marketing activators, activating DASH wallets at race day exhibitions, branding & media attention from the DASH cycling peloton.

Our marketing team will develop DASH branded content for every race day activation. This will be used for social media and to develop promotional stories for TV, Radio & print editorial.

DASH CYCLING AFRICA will generate content around the use case “Send money home” and how capital inflow to the rural areas has the ability to change lives, create entrepreneurial opportunity through the DASH’s utility that makes cash remittances more effective, lowering cost, increasing speed and improving security of transactions.

BRANDING AND AWARENESS:

Close to 2 million South Africans will be reached through a 5 city nationwide cycling tour & campaign.
We will interact with cycling enthusiasts from all over South Africa and the world to promote awareness of DASH, educate them about the utility, speed, its low cost and security when used for cash remittances.

The project team consists of 21 members with relevant experience and reputations.

For the 5 events below, our team will develop strategies to best promote DASH, while our creative director will develop story boards around “Send Money Home” the benefits for rural development and DASH, and our public relation consult will ensure that we get exposure from our established media channels, there will be a special focus on TV and radio to ensure we reach our predicted viewer targets of 2 million eyeballs.

6 x trained DASH ambassadors will show people how to open wallets on their smart phone & inform them about local exchanges and the “send money home” use case.

I can't seem to see any measureables matrix that one can look afterwards and say whether it was a success or not.

Besides attending the events, going on air and the publicity that you'll generate around and for Dash, after all of it, how many new Dash users do you anticipate you will onboard? How will you track this? Through the 6 trained Dash ambassadors?

How will you keep those whom you onboard to continue using Dash?
 
Hi William, Thanks for the enquiry and i guess this is a very good and important question, apart from the target 2 million eyballs we intend to reach, the intention is that our 6x marketing activators will assist the public to open DASH wallets.
We feel we can achieve 4 activations per activator every hour for 4 hours at each event 4x6x4 so our conservative target is approximatley 100 wallets per event. we track this the usual way by taking photos and we will also ask for assistance from Dash givaways who offers free DASH
 
Ok, so from the look of it, 10 events x 100 sign ups per event is 1,000 sign ups overall, for $183,472.39 making it $183.47 cost per acquisition? That's very expensive don't you think?
