If you denominate manually you can see more happening but the denominated amounts come back and sit un-dark-rounded as far as I can tell.

Try right click > Save Link as - or open a terminal and paste this in:

wget http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/rc4/darkcoin-qt

Or just install Firefox.

No idea what AutorunPrompt is but you probably need to make the downloaded file executable. Right click on it in whatever GUI you're using and look for some option to make executable, or open a terminal in whatever directory you've downloaded it to and do:

chmod +x darkcoin-qt

then

./darkcoin-qt

to run it.

Sounds like you need to spend a bit more time playing with linux and learning the basics - you wont regret doing so.

eduffield manual denomination seems not to be my friend either.

I keep getting "Error: The DarkSend requires a collateral transaction and could not locate the input! (code -4)"...
Once I managed to get stuff going, and it said "Transaction Created Successfully", but then the masternode switched and everything is back to good old error code -4.
