How do masternode hosts plan to cope?

It's funny because the telephone started out fully "decentralised" with people literally running long lengths of cables between phones... exchanges came much later, let alone automatic routing. Now, it seems, crypto is moving in exactly the same direction. We're moving from volunteers running full nodes to a requirement of custom hardware running in well connected data centres.

If we can say telcos are "decentralised" then we can also claim dash is "decentralised".

Now, if telecom companies can be regulated, then masternode hosters can also be regulated.

Somehow I doubt that every MNO has been waiting to decommission their existing hardware and replace it with all new equipment. But, as I don't do my own MN administration, I'd rather hear from those that do - particularly if they do it on a large scale on behalf of others.
