Development of a new crypto is easy. Copy an existing, make a few changes and profit. Changes that a lot of us know are needed but too many voters refuse to accept the change.
If Dash doesn't sort out the convoluted treasury expenditure and, to many, obviously needed improvements then it may just fail.

Sometimes it's easy to dwell on the pain points. (Mixing speeds used to be my bug bearer). But it's not unusual for a startup to experience growth pains.

In general, we are moving in the right direction. I actually think it's great we have competing teams trying to increase treasury accountability. Eventually one of them will win out and add value to the ecosystem.

There are a lot of exciting things happening atm. Check out @kots reference to BitAuth2017 in latest update. If Dash manages to secure a first mover advantage in that tech, there is the potential to disrupt more than just the payment sector.

We could totally disrupt the IT authentication industry. The implications could be huge.
