Hi Everyone - wanted to share a quick couple updates.
Our accounts rep on the
https://www.dashcentral.org/p/strike-social-youtube proposal are seeing better than expected results. High viewer engagement, and definitely enough of the right types of views to the Dash video. We've delivered over 1,000,000 highly targeted views so far to the main Dash video:
Since the Dash price lost a bit of value in January, we are officially buying ads at a loss, but that does not phase us nor alter our delivery schedule. Our guarantee was in the views, and so we are absolutely committed to that. We view our partnership with Dash as long-term. (Unofficially, we are HOLDING our Dash payments for the moment, and some employees at Strike have expressed interest in getting paid in Dash.) One step closer to the full circle merchant adoption.
We've been talking with Fernando and Ogilvy and plan to use their new creative when the time comes. For the moment, the "What is Dash?" video will have to do. According to statistics, it is getting viewers to watch it, despite it lacking a level of articulation/professionalism that Dash probably deserves at the moment.
All in all, due to the new publisher restrictions, we believe that there is no time to waste in gaining awareness for Dash. With new Facebook ad restrictions, it's only a matter of time now before large ad buys like this will not be available, and the moment will have passed.
For all those that missed Ryan in Miami, here he is announcing the Strike Social partnership:
Cheers, Patrick
