Hello everyone.

I would like to ask you today whether you would vote for financing Dash advertising, which would be on the A2 motorway between Berlin and Warsaw in Poland. It is one of the busiest highways in this part of Europe.I live in the countryside very close to this highway. I could organize an advertisement similar to the one in the photos. The ad could be changed from time to time. Would there be people who would like to support my candidacy for funding? Give us a thumbs up.

A one-time cost for the advertisement and the scaffolding where the advertisement will be placed will be around 50-60 dash. The monthly fee for renting the land where the advertisement will stand will be around 5-6 dash.

Are you the owner of the land sir?
I support this idea honestly, just needs to be made in a wise way, not just Dash logo as it does not tell anything.
Remember most people who will see it have no idea about Dash as a crypto, so some brainstorming about what to put on might be needed.

This is a good idea
In China, highway billboards are rented out annually, with higher prices near the city center and lower prices in the suburbs,
At the same time, there are also advertisements on the walls of suburban houses, which have lower costs but poorer coverage

As suggested above, before going to proposal, you should seriously consider what this billboard will look like, what message it's going to convey.

If it were me, I might consider the tagline in large print, "Earning, Spending, Saving, Dashing", and then put "dash.org" below it. Whatever you do, something short and catchy.

Would be nice if dash adopted a mascot e.g. a cute dog named "Dash".

In my opinion, this idea is ok, it could be a dash logo with the inscription.
Earning, Spending, Saving, Dashing
dash.org

Does anyone else have any suggestions? Maybe together we will choose something that will be the catchiest.

IMHO, something that makes curious. Something that makes people go to the website, because they want to know, what Dash is about.

E.g.:

Plan your future, be smart and use Dash!

dash.org

"be smart" is like saying "you are not smart", which is not good. Better to create aspiration / role model of who the customer aspires to be.

First, you need to define who you want to attract and what is the clear benefit to them, how will it help them?

Perhaps, for example, a smartly dressed young man who wants to save time, he just wants to pay and go, no messing around with debit card numbers etc."Faster than your bank. Are you dashing?"

One other thing. Put the website as dash.org/A2 This way we can get an idea of how effective it is. Dunno if you want a targeted landing page for that, but in any case, at least we can track it.

If you write "Faster than your bank.", the reader will know, that’s about money. He would probably say "No problem with my bank" and would forget about it...

Thing is that some good slogans must enter instantly and be catchy. As this is in polish A2 highway the slogan will be in polish as well.
"Even you can use it, Dash is Your money!"
"Dash radę! To Twoje pieniądze!" ("Dash radę" has the same phonetic sound to "Dasz radę" but the word is written differently so it is a catchy stuff)
ps. @GrandMasterDash good idea with landing page so it can be measured.

Actually, I don't believe that at all. I've had terrible experiences with banks. But in any case, it can be adjusted, "We work weekends" or "No limits money".

Another idea is to have a pic of a smartly dressed guy, having wine with a sexy woman, "Some expenses should be private" or "What happens with Dash stays with Dash".

In other words, sell the benefits, and with the latter examples, a little controversy could be good.

I came up with this slogan in Polish
Dash - dasz sobie więcej swobody. Prywatnie, szybko, niezawodnie.

Dasz gaz z Dash - płatności bez korków!

It mean,
Dash - you'll give yourself more freedom. Privately, quickly, reliably.

Step on the gas with Dash - payments without traffic jams!

The recipients will be from Poland and abroad, the slogan should also be in English, it does not necessarily have to be the same as in Polish.

There are also many Ukrainians in Poland who send funds to their families via cryptocurrencies. One might consider whether, in some way, the slogan should also be addressed to them.

Sorry, I don't like the location, it's way off the highway, tucked away where it's not noticeable.

If you find a better location, I'd also want to see the actual advertisement proposal.
I'd like to see a way people in that area can purchase Dash and something brilliant to sell using Dash.

I think consider this in context. If they secure very long term placement for a low one off treasury payout, then I'd say it's probably good. I've seen many old billboards that have survived way past their expiry date.

Having said that, I do agree with you about the actual design / message. I'm a little uneasy that the OP has not fully absorbed or comprehended what I have said. If this was their own money, then yeah, they can do whatever they like.

@TanteStefana the billboard might look far from the highway but if you zoom in you'll notice that it is not and hit the driver eyes as a straight line.
Just saying... ;)
@djkarmi in my opinio making a proposal costs only 1 Dash, I'd just move on and submit it to the network and see the output.
I'd make it divided into two separate proposals.
First proposal a one time or two months proposal so you can split the claim, give yourself time to not rush things, starting he project, making this happen, print the materials with a good catchy slogan, the structure, assembly etc
Second one instead would make for 12 months to claim the budget for the rental fee.

Considering the distance, viewing angle and environmental factors, on wide highway lanes, viewers are usually 10 meters away, and it is easier to observe objects about 10 meters above the head. The best visual effect often appears within a range of 100 to 300 meters from the billboard. Therefore, the size of 18 meters x 6 meters is considered to be the best standard size for highway advertising, which can ensure that the advertising information is clearly visible while the vehicle is driving, while taking into account the best balance between safety and visual effects.
