    v0.10.15.x Testing

Thank you! I am running 0.10.15.13 for my node. I think elbereth's tool needs to be restarted (https://test.drk.mn/masternodes.html).

    v0.10.15.x Testing

Are we supposed to be running 0.10.15.4-beta (rc link) or 0.10.15.13 (stable) on testnet? I am restarting my node using 0.10.15.13.

Open Source Announcement and Future Plans

This is very exciting. This will definitely prevent malicious users from taking down the network by (D)DoS-ing the masternodes.

    RC5 Launch (MANDATORY UPDATE)

Thank you! I would love to compile as I like to try to use the compilers for Arch Linux.

    RC5 Launch (MANDATORY UPDATE)

So this means we can compile the 0.12.x branch that includes the full masternode functionality?

    v0.10.13.x RC5 Testing

That sucks for the JIRA. I hope that we all learned from that, though, I do applaud you for the backups no matter how old the backup is. Thanks flare!

    v0.10.13.x RC5 Testing

Have you tried restarting the client to see if that fixes it?

    v0.10.13.x RC5 Testing

Did you change the target rounds? I don't know how they are using the variables for the progress bar, whether or not they are cached or fetched from the UI settings. EDIT: Mine shows 9577.00000083 tDRK anonymized out of a target of 11000 tDRK with 6 rounds. The progress bar shows 99% since...

    v0.10.13.x RC5 Testing

If anyone needs to test large volume transactions, ask me, I have 10000 tdrk anonymized.

    v0.10.13.x RC5 Testing

I host mine (176.31.109.97) on OVH SAS (Kimsufi in France) for roughly 5 euros a month. I live in the US but OVH is good since it is fast where I live still. I run a masternode on testnet. I check on it every few days. I just noticed that darkcoin was not responding today. Luckily it did not...

    Darkcoin Fork in The Road

#2 all the way. Focusing on one thing that is hard will differentiate Darkcoin from the competition.

RC4 issues, bugs & feature requests

When I upgraded from 0.10.12.31 to 0.10.12.32 I experienced high CPU load when it was processing blocks and low CPU load when generating keys. Very strange. Probably the combination of processing blocks and generating new keys at the same time.

    What about a gziped?

    Development Update - August 19, 2014

This sounds like a great idea. Especially since I just received a Kimsufi KS 1 which has "unmetered" bandwidth.

RC4 issues, bugs & feature requests

There were updates at http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/rc4/darkcoind, http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/rc4/darkcoin-qt, http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/master-rc4/darkcoind, http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/master-rc4/darkcoin-qt BTW, these are old version, 0.9.12.25 and 0.10.12.25, but they...

    RC4 Launch

I don't do it currently with USBs. I just have 4 harddrives of similar usage (about 5000 hours PowerOnTime) which is very normal for server class hard drives. EDIT: Forgot to mention that they are also encrypted and then sent to my web-based servers around the world.

    RC4 Launch

Not totally, I just copy them in their current state, so I have versioned copies based on date since I backup regularly. This is also on a machine with darksend disabled so there are not too many keys used.

    Using masternodes for bootstraping

How about C or C++ (what's already used in the client).

    RC4 Launch

That's why I have a cronjob running with a python script to backup my wallets to multiple locations.
