Yes, April 1st - such an annoying day due to the "is it/isn't" it true stuff.
But he has said it's not an April Fool's thing in his post at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1851115.msg18444105#msg18444105
If I recall correctly, someone mentioned to me a while ago that Dash had secured the trademark for use as a virtual currency.
It appears that the user apple_talk on Bitcointalk is thinking of infringing this trademark by intending to launch a DASH2 coin, detailled at...
The count can be seen near the bottom of https://www.dashninja.pl/
You can find an estimate of Dash earnings per masternode per day near the top of https://www.dashninja.pl/blocks.html#perversion under the heading of "Per Version Statistics (last 24h)"
As long as it gets good publicity, this is the kind of crazy thing that could really be good for Dash. Not only does it give the students a warm feeling toward Dash, the publicity could spread the word much further.
The Pizza link with the legendary Bitcoin Pizza is added poetry which some of...
Nice one Dash team. Seems Sentinel is doing its thing a lot faster on masternodes with this new version when running:
venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py
Previously it took a few seconds to return to the command line but now it's virtually instantaneous.
Yes, username changed and path to sentinel is correct. Haven't seen any more watchdogs expiring since changing to a 2 minute cronjob rather than 5 mins.
I've noticed "Watchdog_expired" problems too. On the latest one I logged in to my masternode and ran in the sentinel directory:
venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py
The status of that masternode changed from "Watchdog_expired" in my local wallet to "Enabled" so that seemed to fix it.
I'm...
Although better than just Dash, Dashpay is also used by at least 2 other companies. Dash is better than the old name of Darkcoin but awful when it comes to anything else. Tell someone abut Bitcoin, they'll search for it and find it. Tell someone about Dash, they'll search for it and give up...
Tante, are these Masternodes? I had to do a bit of start-stopping both on my local machine (masternode stop then masternode start), plus stopping and starting daemon on the masternode server itself to get mine looking perfect. Not even sure if masternode stop does anything but got it all...
Shouldn't have to start the comp if it freezes. Just do
kill -9 [pid of dash-qt]
or if using windows, kill it using Task Manager.
I get a bit scared when doing this with wallets so I'd recommend you only do this if you already have a backup copy of your wallet.dat somewhere...but we all...
If you're using 0.12.0.45, try shutting down dash then restarting, this time without the --reindex. This worked for me - it seemed to go back a few months to start loading blocks again but when finished, got past the "synchronizing budgets".
I'm totally excited by the change in name but think that Dash has potential for confusion with the existing Dashcoin which may confuddle newbies. Someone in the Bitcointalk forum somewhere mentioned a trademark issue too, so I checked uspto.gov and there is one particular entry there that could...
Yay, the search box is working now. Thanks, Propulsion! ... edited....Hmmm, kindof working. I get results for "backups" but no results for "backup". Are there no posts with the word backup?
Edited again
Oh waitaminute, it may be just me searching from the wrong place. Seems you have to go...
It's the listings on the poolhash site (can't post the link as the forum won't let me as no-one has "liked" any of my posts yet) . At the time of writing this the listings aren't showing there anyway. I'm guessing that sv01 to sv05 are different servers used to check the masternode status...
