Hello everyone! I would like to link you to my thread on steemit showing a very indepth look at how you can start mining with the Pinidea miner using Minera
The below is COPY AND PASTED...
Just want to say pinidea did have issues with shipping but they are putting ibelink to shame with their updates and active support. The miner does have some quips, but their software is open source and the hardware is about 2x the efficiency of ibelink. pinidea is definitely showing themselves...
Based on nicehash mining stats it looks like there's probably 100-120 miners running currently. See if the numbers drop when they ship them and you will know if it was your miners being used for a good 6 weeks.
As did I
As a notice to everyone - you may have to call SF express to get your UPS tracking number. SF express hands off to UPS once in the USA.
My number was available when i called as it had reached the US, best of luck to you all.
I have a lot of butthurt toward iBeLink for how this was deployed. All units now out of stock after the website was giving credit card errors for 2 1/2 hours
iBeLink - something broke down (again) in the miner where it was hashing below 150 Mhash. It did not restart itself. I restarted cgminer and the issue persisted, so I had to reboot the entire miner.
Please advise as to what would cause this. It had all devs listed as healthy (4/4 192/192)
This is quite a few days later - is there an answer to this?
This is actually the only way to access the miner, semajjames. There is no video output on the device
ADV - the currency is multiple currencies within minutes and the difficulty ranges from 0.56 to 0.08. It exclusively mines at multipools unless I am using ipominer.
It is not possible to narrow it down to a single coin. In any instance a multipool uses it to mine several coins in just as many...
I would also like the source code to be released, iBeLInk. I understand the desire to protect somethings about your miner, but by using mining software under the GNU license I believe you are obligated to make the source code available.
I believe other users would be able to optimize the...
