Can't you stop iptables and try to start masternode? To see if it's iptables that's causing the problems. I don't know if you have "valuables" on this box and can't run the risk for a few minutes.
I made a typo on my darkcoin.conf on the port (put 9999 instead of 19999) and couldn't start my...
I think this is awesome, but is it possible to put into code to ban MN's that are not reachable on port 19999 (if testnet) or 9999 (if mainnet)? These MN's would not be providing a POS and does not need to be part of the MN list or as a voter.
The binary will probably succeed on connecting to...
Sorry for the delayed response. My last payment was about 5 hours ago and I'm not seeing my IP address on the masternode list anymore even with the :0 flag, so maybe my MN is finally out of the MN network.

I'm still getting MN payment. Still flag :0.
I only check by opening the "local" wallet.dat in the qt wallet. Then I close the qt wallet after a few minutes.
The "remote" MN is always running. I also enabled setgenerate true on the remote MN, if that makes a difference. It has found 3...
I'm not sure if I should stop and restart my MN (remote/local setup). I have a flag :0 and I'm not showing up in the list http://tdrk.poolhash.org/blocks/masterlist.txt but I keep getting MN payments (I think I just received a back-to-back MN payment). Is this something that will help...
I've been using your method :) https://darkcointalk.org/threads/remote-masternode-guide.410/
It has been working on testnet and I've been getting a lot of practice as I keep starting from scratch with a clean testnet3/ (same wallet.dat).
I have a flag :0 but I seem to be receiving MN...
Even with the flag of :0; I still received another payment. 2 Confirms so far.
"23.242.106.27:19999" : 0,
I guess this could be an issue on the mainnet if MN's are getting paid and not showing up on the masterlist?

ok, I'll do that. I'm getting paid, though, which is the weird thing.
wallet address: mnKjtxAsabarv2y2kb3sGyHz7rFEnm7Uu4
Is this the latest version of MN binary: v0.10.9.6-7-ga18bf5f-beta ?
Thanks.

I'm showing up with :0 flag, but when I open the wallet in darkcoin-qt (built from forkfix branch), I'm getting MN payments (30.20 DRK latest one has 3 confirms)

Sorry about that  I thought I had changed it back. I setup my MN (using remote/local method) on the local LAN. The first time I did it (v10.9.2) it worked and published the public IP address of the remote. Second time I did it with v 10.9.3, it published the private IP address of...
This is awesome, TanteStefana! It works within a home network, so I feel it's much safer. I've just tried on testnet using port 19999 and was able to setup this local/remote. Local is my Arch Linux laptop so wallet password was never entered on the remote and this all took place within the...
