Can we get some Dash related Satoshi Round Table news? fluffy is on top of this promoting the hell out of his coin, with Reddit live coverage on /btc subreddit and live streaming directly from the event.

Can we get some Dash related coverage out of it as well? Would suck to let them steal the spotlight.

as far as i know there are certain rules about posting news and updates (specially in video and picture)
i saw this and am surprised this is out there.

i emailed the roundtable (as a concerned cryptonaut) and told them how 'lame' this kind of pr for them is
(pathetic)

PS
did you really had to post that 's h i t' show here
these idiots (chris deross and his douchbags) belong on BCT and not on here

I disagree with your control freakism Tungfa (no offense cos I think you mean well) and I think conversation should be brought out in the open instead doing everything behind closed doors.

I actually like that these guys "crashed" the party and did a live streaming event. Agree to disagree. What I don't like is that Dash isn't getting much coverage out of this, at least not as of yet.

really ?
whow

we are officially from different worlds when it comes to this kind of thing
ok i will try to be less "control freakism myself" i guess

in my humble opinion
the team is at 'work' doing meetings, socialising, presenting ,...
which is more important than doing YT interviews with these guys
(we avoided them in Miami already as they have a very bad reputation)
press (if any) will come after i imagine
but then, what do i know

I haven't heard of these guys before but in the video one of them mentioned they have written articles for Coindesk, Cointelegraph & Bitcoin Magazine. Even in this video they've had a Bitcoin core dev and Roger Ver on. If they were good enough for a Bitcoin core dev and Roger Ver not sure why they aren't good enough for Dash. I've asked them on Twitter to cover Dash as well in their next live hangout.

tungfa

This seems to be the guy on Twitter https://twitter.com/derosetech

He is followed by Antonopolous, Tuur Deemester, Roger Ver, Brock Pierce, Daily Decrypt and even our dev fernando and a bunch of other folks. Why do all these people follow him if he has such a bad rep? I think it's better to engage than to avoid. Doesn't exactly help avoiding them while fluffy is making his case. If Dash can get some coverage by using these guys why not do it.

I know him and his guys from BTC chat groups
they destroyed the coundojo (telegram group) back in the day , they are bullies and douchbags in my opinion , always ready to team up and take somebody down
not my style

will Evan do an interview with them ? I have no idea , it sounds like he denied

would I advice for it , no I would not but that does not mean anything

why don't you do a show with them if you are so keen on it and in touch with them already ?

tungfa

I'm not in touch with them at all. buster posted a link to their Satoshi Round Table live stream the other day. I've missed it so I looked for the recording on youtube and found it. I didn't know someone will actually cover the Round Table and have bunch of Round Table guests on.

Speaking of bullies - best way to handle bullies is to take them head on. Go live on their live stream and call them out on their bullshit. Plain and simple.

I thought this event was supposed to be private. Did the monkeyros actually crash, go uninvited? Then live stream because they found the location? That's so low class! And that's probably why people are meeting in their rooms, to avoid the trash. How funny.

Sorry InTheWoods, but we weren't supposed to get any updates from this event, it's supposed to be private, and a place to network one on one. That's the point.

No, it wasn't them. Some crypto journalists found out about the event and went there to cover it, livestreaming the whole thing. They were the uninvited ones. Monero was invited to attend.

They have some high profile guests in that video I've linked like Charles Lee, Roger Ver, Bitcoin Core devs and few others. Monero managed to insert themselves in the conversation and take a cheap shot at Dash. This is why I'm saying it can't hurt to push back and have the Dash devs on as well.

Oh no, I'd stay a million miles away from them. They're poison. Going down to their level would never be helpful.

I mean those doing the video recently posted on Bitcointalk. Journalists are not even supposed to be there, it's supposed to be a media free event. I don't think supporting crashers is a good message to send out.

And funny, that is a short list of people I have no respect for. Not a single one. Ooops, not Roger Ver, I was thinking Peter Todd, apologies.

Supporting crashers? That's what journalists do, go and cover events regardless if they were invited or not. Did you also complain when a bunch of libertarian journalists went to cover the Bilderberg meetings?

If I go to a private event, to network privately. And we paid for Evan to go to a private event to talk to other people in the field privately and confidentially, I certainly wouldn't support anyone who is ruining that with even a glance their way.

So you are saying Roger Ver, Charles Lee, Bitcoin Core devs are idiots for talking to them?
